Following an Illness of several
months, Theodore A. Le Veque, 56,
of 80 Lake St., Angola, died Thursday
in Mercy Hospital. Buffalo. He
was the husband of the former
Josephine Barnwell of Lockport.
Born in Sheldon Sept. 19. 1696,
he was the son of John and Mary
Le Veque and attended schools
there. Employed by Niagara-Hudson
Power Corporation. Mr. Le
Veque wax active to Boy Scout
work In Western New York and
was a member of Society of St
Vincent de Paul and the Sacred
Heart Church Holy Name Society.
Surviving, besides his wife, is
one daughter Sandra of Buffalo;
a son Theodore Jr. of Angola: one
sister, Mrs. Frank Ryder of Strykersville;
one brother, Joseph Le
Veque of East Aurora and several
nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at
9 o'clock at the home end et 9:30
at Sacred Heart Church, Angola.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's

Obituary of Theodore J. LeVeque
Theodore “Ted” J. LeVeque passed away April 24, 2022 in Orchard Manor. Born June 2, 1939 in Buffalo he was the son of Theodore F. and Josephine (Barnwell) LeVeque. Ted served in the National guard for 6 years, worked for Harrison radiator in the Tool & Die Room and owned a photography business for 20 years. Ted was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, was chairman of the Democratic Committee, belonged to the Knights of Columbus, involved with the Salvation Army, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and also the Zoning Board of Appeals for 25 years serving as Chairman for 6 years. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne M. (Newman) on January 28, 2009 and sister Sandra (Robert) Smitter.
Ted is survived by his daughters Joni (Timothy) Holden and Elizabeth (John) Skakuj; grandchildren Danny, David Holden and Jack Skakuj; also several nieces and nephews.
