    Christine Marie Burke (nee Grottanelli) passed away December 18, 2014 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Falconer, NY on March 14, 1933 she was the daughter of Americo "Elmer" and Amelia (nee Gentile) Grottanelli. Christine was a Lockport High School graduate class of 1952 and worked at Sherwood Selpac for 20 years retiring in 1992. She also briefly worked as a lunch monitor and at WT Grants. Christine enjoyed playing card playing with the same group of women for many years and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Burke on January 5, 2010.
    Christine is survived by her children, Roxanne (David) Smith and Patrick (Rebecca) Burke, both of Lockport; grandmother of Kirsten B. Kenny, Kyla J. Smith, Kacey J. Smith, Andrea Edsel, Bridgette (David) Johnson and Lindsey Burke; great grandmother of Eamon John and Eoin David Kenny; sister of Peter Grottanelli of Sacramento, CA and the late Serafino Grottanelli, Antoinette Sammarco, Dominic Grottanelli, Ronald Grottanelli, and Katherine Miller; sister-in-law of Sharon Grottanelli and Antoinette Grottanelli; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Dec. 21st from 7-9 PM and Monday, Dec. 22nd from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to the John E. Burke Athletic Scholarship Fund for Lockport High School Students, 250 Lincoln Avenue, Lockport, NY 14094 or Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.

    Douglas J. Miller passed away July 24, 2022.  Born November 7, 1964 in Lockport he was the son of Richard “Grubby” and Katherine “Kay” (Grottanelli) Miller.  Doug worked for Tops Grocery Store in Medina for eleven years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, camping, horseshoes, fireworks, and football being a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
    Douglas is survived by his wife of 33 years Jacquelynn (McGraw) Miller; children Darlynn (JR) Miller, Devan Sue Miller, and Douglas “Dougie” Miller; grandchildren Emma Jean Andrews, Thomas “Tommy” Andrews, and Robert “Bobbo” Howitt;  loyal pup, Buster; brother Richard (Linda) Miller; in-laws Albert & Grace McGraw, Andrew McGraw, and Heidi (Eric) Siefert; also several nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Friday, July 29th at 2 PM in Mount Oliver Lutheran Church, 6965 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Lockport.  The Miller Family requests to please com in comfortable clothing,

    Richard is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda M. (Young) Miller; children Keith Seiler, Heather (Leonard) Vanever, Scott (Silka) Letcher, Richard J. Miller, III, and Stacy Miller; grandchildren Jason (Brooke) Hillman, Maleake Shannon, and Shyanne Miller; sister Daisy Lemire.

    Grayce Dietz passed away November 19, 2015. Born February 1, 1950 she was the daughter of the late John & Antennette Sammarco and sister to the late John Maynard. Grayce was a mother to all, she was a homemaker who loved cooking, crafts, sewing, quilting, swimming, being outdoors, the beach and her favorite time of year was Christmas. She belonged to Angel Gowns of WNY, she worked at the Niagara County Migrant and Rual Ministry and she was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church. Grayce is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Dietz, her children Darci Garcia, Michael Dietz and Lauren Dietz, her grandchildren Jesse M. Garcia, Andrew Dietz and Connor Dietz, her siblings Bill Sammarco and Patti Palmer, along with many extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held Monday November 23 from 2-4 and 6-9PM at Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Avenue Lockport, with a funeral service Tuesday at 10am at the funeral home with a burial to follow.

    Besides her father Darci is also survived by her son, Jesse (Alexandria) Garcia; siblings Michael J. Dietz and Lauren (Jacob) Dietz-Sink; nephews Andrew, Connor, Sawyer, and Jayce.
