will be held Monday, March 15,
at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Karl Rest

Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu

Norman L. Hanes (Stormin Norman) age 96 of North Tonawanda September 19, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Norman was a navy veteran of World War II. He was a former employee of Spaulding Fibre and Harrison Radiator. He was an avid bowler with several 300 games and also loved to debate. He was the husband of Norma (Hemmerling) Hanes who died in 1974.
Dear father of Doug (Christine) Hanes of North Tonawanda and Mike (Doris) Hanes of the Town of Wheatfield; Grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; Brother of Howard Hanes of North Tonawanda and David (Eleanor) Hanes of New Port Richey, Florida and the late William, Robert and Donald Hanes and Lois Howell; Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
NO PRIOR VISITATION. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association of WNY or Niagara Hospice.

Lois was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. She loved spending time with her family. She was the wife of the late Richard Howell, who died in 2005. Beloved mother of Bonnie Howell of Middlesex, NY, Paul (Debra) Howell of North Tonawanda, and Debra (James) Buddenhagen of Penn Yan, NY; grandmother of Jennifer (Mark) Miriglia, Timothy Dellario, Jason and Jacob Buddenhagen and Stephanie Howell; great-grandmother of Tyler and Lillian Miriglia; sister of Norman, Howard and David (Eleanor) Hanes and the late William, Donald and Robert Hanes; sister-in-law of Florence Hanes Miranda; special friend of Elsie Shaw. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
