    Word has been received of the
    death of Mrs. Mary Hoffman Bartzfield,
    26 years old, a former resident
    of Hoffman's Station, a few
    miles east of North Tonawanda, at
    her home in Lancaster, Pa., yesterday.
    Mrs. Bertzfield was born in
    Hoffman's Station and resided there
    until her marriage, a few years
    ago.
    She is survived by her husband.
    John; a baby son. parents. Mr. and
    Mrs. John Hoffman: a sister, Mrs.
    Junius Beach, and three brothers,
    Charles, Ezra and Ira, all of Hoffman's
    Station.
    The funeral and burial will be in
    Lancaster, Pa.

    ROCKWOOD - Ruth M. Rockwood, 60, Thursday (April 22, 1971) after a long illness. Born in Williamsville, N. Y., Mrs. Rockwood had resided in the Town of Wheatfield for the greater part of her life. She was employed for over 10 years at Starpoint Central School before retiring four years ago. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Pokelwaldt of North Tonawanda; a son, Wesley Rockwood of Lockport; four grandchildren and two brothers, John Beach of Tonawanda and Wesley Beach of North Tonawanda. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral Home Inc., Adam-Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Clifford Nauman will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.
