Gertrude A. (Fix) Zeitz, 79, of
429 Old Niagara Falls Blvd.,
died Thursday (May 4,1972) at
DeGraff Memorial Hospital
after a short illness.
Born in the Town of Amherst,
she had been a resident of this
city for more than 35 years and
the Town of Pendleton for five
years. Her husband, the late
Anthony B. Zeitz, died in 1970.
She is survived by two sons,
Marvin Zeitz of the Town of
Pendleton and Lester Zeitz of
Bath, S.C.; seven daughters,
Mrs. Randall (Evelyn)
Kramer, Mrs. Earl (Margaret)
Becker, Mrs. James (Mildred)'
Phillip, Mrs. Benton (Ethel)
Sutor, and Mrs. Robert
(Gurtrude) Grimaldi, all of
this city, and Mrs. Calvin
(Viola) Lozo of Getzville, and
Mrs. Andrew (Dorothy)
Garlock of Tonawanda; a
sister, Mrs. Louise Wolf of
Williamsville, 30 grandchildren
and 35 greatgrandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection
will be offered Saturday at
Good Shepherd Church,
Pendleton, with the Rev.
Thomas Devine officiating.
Burial will be in Good
Shepherd Church Cemetery.

2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Roth
Funeral Home.

NORTH TONAWANDA — Ethel M. "Sue" (nee Zeitz) Suter, age 88, of North Tonawanda, entered into rest on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was a 41-year breast cancer survivor. Ethel was born in Williamsville, NY to the late Anthony and Gertrude (Fix) Zeitz, and had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. She was the wife of Benton W. Suter, who died in 2005, and had been employed in the Custodial Department for the North Tonawanda School System for 25 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish.

She is survived by two children, Deborah Wilke of the Town of Wheatfield and Roger (Diane) Suter of West Seneca, NY; five grandchildren, Samantha Suter and Jason, Jonathan, Gregory and Chad Wilke; three great-grandchildren, Alec, Abbie and Skyla Wilke; and a sister, Gertrude (late Robert) Grimaldi of Niagara Falls, NY. She was the sister of the late Marvin and Lester Zeitz, Evelyn Kramer, Margaret Becker, Mildred Phillips, Viola Lozo and Dorothy Garlock.

Family will be present on Monday, April 8, from 3-7 PM only at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. Funeral service and burial will be private.

Grimaldi, Gertrude C. {nee Zeitz)
Age 92, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away peacefully September 22, 2023 at her home. Loving mother of Patrick (Mary) Grimaldi, Gary (Lynn) Grimaldi, Linda (Carlos) Ternent and Kathryn (Brian) Jenkins. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Grimaldi who died in1979, by her parents Anthony and Gertrude (nee Fix) Zeitz and by 8 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 9:30 AM in St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. Everyone is welcome to attend (please assemble at the church). A Private Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery will immediately follow.

Obituary of Carol McIntyre

Carol Anne McIntyre, formerly of Howard Avenue, Lockport, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Eastern Niagara Hospital at the age of 82.  Carol was born on March 31, 1936 to Marvin and Marie Zeitz and spent her early life on the farm on Mapleton Road in Pendleton with her sisters, Janet (Edward) Beres (predeceased) and Beverley (Richard) Zellner. 
After graduating from Lockport High School, Carol worked as a dental assistant in the office of doctors Kelsey and DeLange.  As she started to raise her children, she helped out in the family store “Mac’s Market” on Bewley Parkway.  Later, she worked for 20 years at Harrison Radiator, where she made many long-time friends. 
Carol was an avid gardener, tending the memorial gardens along the Canal, competing in violet competitions, giving gardening advice to family and friends and maintaining beautiful beds of roses and day lilies around her own home.
Carol is survived by her children, Cheryl (Kenneth II) Smith of Pendleton, Rebecca (James) Boseck of Canandaigua, Keith (Lisa) McIntyre of Macedon and Stephen (Molly) McIntyre of Akron.  Grandma Mac was most proud of her grandchildren, Carly (Andrew) Short, Collin (Victoria) Smith, Benjamin and Matthew Boseck, Jomarie, Jake, Bryan and Brooke McIntyre. 
Relatives and friends may call in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport Wednesday August 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 P.M. followed by a memorial service immediately following at 4 PM.

Kramer, Randall W.
Age 72, of the Town of Pendleton passed away July 14, 2023. Dear husband of 49 years to Lynette (nee Hart) Kramer, beloved father of Jason Kramer, Steven (Justine) Kramer and grandfather of Cole, Parker and Maeve. He was the son of the late Randall and Evelyn (nee Zietz) Kramer, brother of Bonnie (James) Dallman and the late Annette (late Jack) Short. Randall was a graduate of Starpoint High School, served in the United States Army in the 1970’s and was a foreman at the Niagara County Highway Department. Randall loved hunting, making fishing rods and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 17, 2023, 4 -7PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad St.) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday at 7 PM following the visitation.
