Letters testamentary in the estate
of Stanlalaw Beczkowski, who died
here on January 17, leaving an estate
of $3,000 and upwards personal prop-
erty, were issued to a son, John
Charles Beczkowski, of 3014 Monroe
avenue. Small bequests are made to
each of four grandchildren, Stanis-
law, Henry, Regina and Irene Marion
Beczkowski, all of 1935 Cudaback av-
enue, and the residue is left to the
executor.

(June 4, 1963) at Memorial
Hospital. He had been ill since
January of this year.
Born in Poland, Mr. Becz-
kowski had lived in this city

short illness.
He was born In Poland but
was brought here as a child.
He lived in this city for 50
years. He was an employe of
the Certainteed Products Co.
for 38 years and for five years
prior to his illness he was a
guard at the Olin Mathieson
Chemical Co.
Mr. Beczkowski was a mem-
ber of the Star of Freedom
Society, Polski National Alli-

Holy Trinity Society. Polish
Roman Catholic Union Group
No. 712. He was a member of
St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman
Catholic Church.

Mary Fegatilli, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aniela (Bak) Beczkowski.

Mary attended local schools and on February 26, 1949 she married Salvatore J. Fegatilli in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Fegatilli predeceased her on September 13, 2003. Mary worked as an unemployment clerk for the New York State Department of Labor in Niagara Falls, NY for over fifteen years. She enjoyed going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Paula (Anthony) Guetta and Nancy (John) Mastromatteo; four grandchildren, Anthony J. (Shanna) Guetta, Danielle (Neal) Urban, Adam (Elizabeth) Mastromatteo, and Natalie Mastromatteo; four great-grandchildren, Julia and Elena Guetta, Gabriella and Emmalynn Mastromatteo; a sister, Irene (late Peter) Bak, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry (late Millie) Beczkowski and Stanley (late Jennie) Beczkowski.

There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday November 6th at 10 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th St. and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. April 16, 2020, age 88, of Niagara Falls. Beloved wife of the late Peter Bak; loving mother of JoAnne Cheff-Hambridge (James) and Pamela Bak Torres-Baker; cherished grandmother "Mamie" of Joseph (Jody) Chadima III, Kimberlee Connolly, Kristin (Brian) Wood, Gregory (Hannah) Torres, Stefany Torres and Amanda Walsh; devoted great-grandmother "Mamie" of June Ann, Joey, Justin and Juliet Chadima, Ava, Ray, and Benjamin Wood, Alina Torres, Raymond and Justin Feliciano; she was very close to her nieces, Paula Guetta and Nancy Mastromatteo. Irene was store manager for Gem Jewelers in Lewiston, NY for over 20 years. She also owned and operated Lewiston Liquors, before retiring. She loved gardening and enjoyed going to the casino. John S. Beczkowski of Niagara Falls, NY, was called to his heavenly home on November 5, 2014 under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice.

He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 15, 1927 to the late John and Sophie (Monko) Beczkowski. John attended local schools and was drafted into the United States Army on April 26, 1946. On June 5, 1946 he enlisted into the United States Air Force. While serving the rank of Corporal, his tour of duty included being stationed in Panama where he was a crash and structural firefighter driver. He was honorably discharged on June 4, 1949 and received the Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal for his service and Sharp Shooter Award. On September 3, 1949, he married Genevieve Bernat whom he was married to for 54 years before her death in August 2004.

He worked for 36 years for Kimberly Clark/ Cellu/Niatec. John later was a bus driver for Opportunities Unlimited, picking up senior citizens in Niagara County for six years before he retired in 1991 to take care of his wife suffering with Parkinson's disease.

John was an avid hunter and enjoyed vacationing in Northern Canada fishing with his wife and children. He was a handy man and enjoyed woodworking, remodeling and had a knack for being able to repair just about "anything". He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also took pride in his gardening.

He is survived by three children; Diane (Robert) Smith, Gloria Beczkowski and John C. Beczkowski; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grand- children. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by a brother Matthew and sister Pauline Ciskiewicz.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 7, 2014 at ZAJC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319- 24th Street, corner of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, 14303. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 9:30 AM, which will be celebrated in Divine Mercy R.C. Church, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303 with Reverend Jacek Mazur serving as celebrant. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Military Honors.
