Peter P. Christoff, age 79, of Wheatfield, passed away January 27, 2016.

Mr. Christoff was born July 20, 1936, in Niagara Falls, NY, son of the late Pencho and Mary Christoff.

He graduated from Trott Vocational School and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Christoff retired from Noco in 1996 after many years of service. He was a 56 year member of Rescue #5 Fire Company, a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post #1451, a longtime member of Crows Nest Horseshoe Club and a member several local bowling leagues.

Beloved husband of the late Sharon Christoff; devoted father of Valerie ( James) Diermyer, Karen ( Mark) Zientara and the late Steven and Lisa Christoff; loving grandfather of Lindsay Reimer, Andrew Kirsch, Kelli Diermyer, Dana and Kevin Zientara; great- grandfather of Makenzie; brother of Stephanie (Vincent) Pallaci.

Visitation Friday 4 to 8 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Dr. N. Tonawanda, where Prayers will be offered Saturday at 12:15 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd at 1:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors, Acacia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.

Stephanie M. (nee Christoff) Pallaci, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on June 10, 2021.  Born on November 27, 1937 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pencho and Mary (nee Kochan) Christoff.  On April 27, 1957, Stephanie married Vincent G. Pallaci.

 
Mrs. Pallaci was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1955. Stephanie was employed as bank teller for the former Marine Midland Bank in Niagara Falls and Lewiston. She was a member and communicant of the former Sacred Heart Church and currently of Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish, where she worshiped at the St. Joseph Church site.  Mrs. Pallaci was a talented cook and enjoyed gardening, the casino, traveling, dancing and listening to Jazz music. Above all, Stephanie loved spending time with her family and friends.

 
In addition to her beloved husband Vincent, Mrs. Pallaci is survived by three children, Laura Pallaci Janese, Russell (Monica) Pallaci and Joyce (Eric) Gaglione; grandchildren, Rudy (Kelly) Janese, Christopher (Wendy) Janese, Andrew (Ashley Pascuzzi) Janese, Russell (Nicole) Pallaci, Adam (Laura) Pallaci, Brett Gaglione and Kelsey (Michael) Broich; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, Stephanie was predeceased by a brother, Peter Christoff.

 
Mrs. Pallaci’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.  Friends invited. killed Sunday in an auto accident on
the Thruway near Blasdell-
Steven. 12. and Lisa, 11, were passengers
in their fathers car when it
was struck from behind, flipped over
and burst into flame.
Mr. and Mrs. Christoff were listed
in "fair" condition today at Emergency
Hospital in Buffalo. Another
child. Karen, 8. was reported in "critical"
condition at Children's Hospital
in Buffalo, where she is being treated
for burns that cover more than half of
her body. -
In addition to their parents and sister
Karen, the Christoff children are
survived by another sister, Valerie,
and their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond Phelps of North Tonawanda
and Mrs. Mary Kochen Christoff of
Niagara Falls.
Services will be conducted at 10:10
a.m. Saturday at Wattengel Funeral
Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda,
with the Rev. Gerald Kreuzer officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.
