    Miller, 81, of 6066 East Ave.,
    a retired farmer, died Sunday
    at Inter - Community
    Memorial Hospital after a long
    illness.
    Born Feb. 1, 1890, in Wilson,
    he was the son of John and
    Marie (Bendt) Miller, and had
    been a resident of this area for
    the past 45 years.
    He was a member of the
    Seventh Day Adventist Church,
    Burt.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
    Minne Miller; three sons, Cecil
    Miller of Wilson, Dwayne Miller
    of Barker and Clifford Miller
    of Carrollton, Ga.; also three
    grandchildren and three great
    - grandchildren.
    Frends may call at the
    Rutland - Corwin Funeral Home
    Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane,
    where funeral services will be
    held at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The
    Rev. Larry P. Grahn will officiate.
    Burial will be in Corwin
    Cemetery.

    WILSON - Herbert A.
    Miller, 72, of 3050 Maple Road,
    died Friday (Sept. 25, 1970) in
    Medina Memorial Hospital after
    a short'illness.
    Mr. Miller was born Aug. 11,
    1898, in the Town of Wilson.
    .The son of John C. and Maria
    Bendt Miller, he married the
    former Mabel Zastrow Dec. 3,
    1932, at St. Peter's Lutheran
    Church, North Ridge. He was
    e m p l o y e d by N o r t on
    Laboratories, Lockport, from
    1951-61 and operated a dairy
    farm at the Maple Road address.
    Mr. Miller was a member
    of the South Wilson Fire Company
    for 11 years and a member
    of St. Paul's Lutheran
    Church, Wilson.
    Survivors include his wife; a
    son, John Miller of Sanborn;
    a daughter, Marjorie Miller, at
    home; a brother, Clay Miller
    of Newfane, and one grandson.
    Funeral services will be held
    Mohday at 2 p.m. at the
    Hamilton and Clark Funeral
    Chapel, Wilson, with the Rev.
    David Tietz officiating. Burial
    will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery. The family will be
    present from 2 to 5 and 7 to
    9 p.m. Memorial contributions
    may be made to the organ fund
    of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

    John A. Miller, of Wilson, NY, passed away on January 4, 2020 at Buffalo VA Hospital. Born in Wilson, NY, on December 16, 1932, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Mabel (Zastrow) Miller.
    John married Clarinda Miller of Sanborn, NY, on September 15, 1962. She predeceased him on August 1, 1992.
    John served in the US Army and was stationed in Japan from 1953 to 1955. He then worked at Continental Can Co., in North Tonawanda, and was a school bus driver for Niagara Wheatfield CSD. John was a lifelong farmer in Wilson and Cambria. In addition, he owned and operated Miller Farm Produce Containers. John and his family went to North Tonawanda Farmers Market with vegetables and his wife's homemade pies for many years. He was active in Niagara County Farm Bureau, 4-H, and Pekin Grange. He was also an exempt member of South Wilson Volunteer Fire Company.
    In his younger years, John was an avid bowler who belonged to two leagues. He loved watching sports, everything from high school basketball, any type of baseball, and especially Sabres hockey. John enjoyed reading newspapers and biographies, and doing puzzles. Following his retirement, he volunteered delivering Niagara County Home Delivered Meals.
    John is survived by his sister, Marjorie (David) White of Wilson, NY; four children, Gary Miller, Beth (late Eliot) Ulrich, Colleen (Chris) Liberto and Valerie (Greg) Nix; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many dear in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Friends and family may call Wednesday, January 8th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 9th at Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home with Reverand John Loeser. Burial services will follow at North Ridge Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Wilson Volunteer Fire Company, 4194 Chestnut Road, Wilson, NY 14172.
