Marvin E. Miller, 63, of 4460
Upper Mountain Rd., died
unexpectedly at his home
Wednesday.
Born in the Town of Cambria
on September 1, 1908, he was
the son of the late John and
Bertha Miller.
Mr. Miller retired from the
Sanborn Milling Co. one year
ago where he had been a miller
for more than 40 years.
He was a member of St.
Paul's UCC.
Survivors include his widow,
Helen Miller, a daughter, Mrs.
LeRoy (Shirley) Richardson of
Sanborn, two sisters, Mrs.
Harold (Gertrude) Heschke of
Gasport, and Mrs. James
(Elsie) Clark of Ransomville, a
brother, Herbert Miller of Lockport,
three grandsons, and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
Inc., 5893 Hoover Rd., Sanborn,
Saturday at 11 a.m. with the
Rev. R. Barclay Below of St.
Paul's UCC officiating.
The family will be present
from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and
from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
tomorrow.
Burial will be in Wheatfield
Cemetery.

Donald Marvin Heschke Sr., age 81, of Gasport, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport after a 9 year battle with Parkinson Disease. Born March 4, 1934 in Lockport, NY, Don is the son of the late Harold and Gertrude (Miller) Heschke.

He married Mary Cummings on October 28, 1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lockport. Don served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958 achieving the rank of Private First Class.

Don worked at General Motors retiring in 1997. As a jack-of-all-trades, he enjoyed working on the farm and loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. A kind man of gentle demeanor, Don's patience and willingness to help will be remembered by all.

Surviving is his wife Mary, and children, Donald (Shari) Heschke Jr. of Gasport, Debra (Jeff) Piggins of Lockport and Michael (Connie) Heschke of Medina; brother of William Heschke of Gasport, Mary Wood of Lockport, Ida (Fred) Giertz of Middleport, Richard Heschke of Middleport and Shirley Doty of Gasport. He was predeceased by a brother: Clarence Heschke. Grandfather of Tristan, Ian and Casidhe Heschke Stephanie and Hannah Piggins and Brandon and Samantha Heschke. Several nieces and nephews also survive Don.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Sunday, November 1,, 2015 from 2-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:00 am with the Reverend Rod Klinzing officiating. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Niagara Hospice.

Richard L. Heschke of Newfane, NY husband of the late Beverly A. Kirchberger Heschke entered into rest
on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born in Lockport, NY on February 21, 1936, son of the late Harold and
Gertrude Miller Heschke. Richard served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors. He enjoyed
farming, playing bingo and spending time with his grandchildren.
Father of John (Sue) Heschke, Doug Heschke and Julie (Kevin) Gow. Grandfather of Carrie Rutkowski,
Ethan Gow, Brian Heschke, Kaitlyn Bramwell, Cassandra Heschke and Mathew Heschke. Brother of Mary
Alice Woods, Ida Giertz, Shirley Doty and the late Clarence, William and Donald Heschke. Also survived
by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on
Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2-6pm where funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at
11:30am. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s

Obituary of Donald R. Clark

Donald R. Clark of Ransomville husband of 59 years to Betty Jean (Blank) Clark passed away on April 24th, 2019 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital following a great fight with kidney failure. He was born on May 29, 1942 son of the late James and late Elsie Miller Clark of Ransomville. Donald graduated from Wilson Central High School in 1960. On October 15, 1960 he married Betty Jean Blank whom he met at the Catarach Cavalers Drum and Bugle Corp.  Donald worked for Sanborn Milling Co. for 44 years and at Fleckenstein Machine following his retirement. Donald enjoyed playing Santa Claus for organizations, enjoyed hunting with his family and best friend Jack in the Catskills. He was an avid sports fan of the Sabres, Bills and the Mets. He was a past President of Mutual Milling and Feed Dealers of WNY. Donald was a life member of the Sanborn Fire Co. and exempts, Niagara County and the NYS Volunteer Fireman Associations, the National Rifle Association, the Golden Eagle and the North American Hunting Club. Donald was past President  of the Pioneer Sportsman’s Club, past member of the Wilson Conservation Club and the Franklinville Sportsman’s Club, board member of the Iroquois Arms Collectors Association, Treasurer and member of the Niagara Co. SCOPE, past Treasurer and member for the LaSalle Sportsman’s Club, Charter member of the Crossbow Association of American and NY and the NYS Rifle and Pistol Association. Donald was a member and past President of the Ransomville Lions Club, Lions International, recipient of  the Lions Vision Beyond Sight Humanitarian Service award 1999-2000, and recipient of  the Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service award in recognition of outstanding service.
 
Surviving is his wife Betty Jean; 5 sons, Robert (Dawn), Richard (Lynne), Ronald (Tina), Russ (Michelle) and Randall (Nancy); his grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel (Kelsey), Ryan (Liz), Justin (Megan), Teagan, Raechelle (John), Tiffany, Rachel, Michael; step grandchildren Emily and Shawn and 3 great grandchildren; sister Mary Ann (Dale) McRorie; brother in law Fred (Elaine) Blank and sister in law Linda Moxham.

Tiffany Donielle ClarkMay 11, 1994~Sept 28, 2021 Tiffany Donielle Clark, 27, of Ransomville, passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2021. Born in Newfane Intercommunity Hospital on May 11, 1994, to Ron/Tina (Pratz) Clark. In 2013, she graduated from Wilson Central High School, Orleans-Niagara Career/Technical Education Center (Culinary Arts), and First Place in SkillsUSA Competition for Food Prep Assistant. Tiffany was employed at Brothers of Mercy Rehabilitation Center, Clarence, as Head Baker. She loved baking cakes, loved Halloween, Christmas, sing, craft, music, playing Pokemon, gaming, but above all else, family & her furbaby, Aiden.Surviving Tiffany are her parents Ron & Tina Clark; sister Raechelle (John) Hollingworth; nephew Everett Charles Joseph Hollingsworth; grandfather, Robert E Pratz; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She Is predeceased by Grandparents Donald & Betty Clark, and Grandmother Kathleen Pratz.Final arrangements will be announced by family, at a later date.
