    FORT EDWARD Daisy Benware Reese, 95, went to be in peace with the Lord, Friday,
    Oct.
    8, 1999, at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home, Fort Edward.
    Born on Sept. 23, 1904, in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of Frank and
    Priscilla (Bordeaux) Benware.
    Daisy was a lifelong resident of Fort Edward and communicant of St. Joseph
    Church, Fort
    Edward.
    She was a homemaker and had a passion for reading, music and cooking and was
    known for
    her famous baked goods. She loved spending time with her 21 grandchildren and 23
    greatgrandchildren
    and always referred to each as her reflected glory. Her powerful
    love and the
    examples she set for them will be their legacy. Daisy endeared herself to many
    with her kind,
    loving and compassionate ways and her beautiful singing voice will be long
    remembered by
    many.
    On Nov. 17, 1927, she married Jesse Shorty Reese and this November the couple
    would
    have celebrated their 72nd anniversary.
    Besides her parents she was predeceased by two sisters; Maude B. Bergeron and
    Leona B.
    McClimans; two brothers, Lawrence J. Benware and Francis Kick Benware; a
    grandson,
    Michael Lee Williams
