    PENN YAN - Funeral services for
    Mrs. Bertha I. Sheehan, 86, of 151 Stark
    Ave., who died today at Soldiers and
    Sailors Memorial Hospital, will be at
    2:30 Sunday at the Weldon Funeral
    Home. The Rev. Clair Stathal, pastor of
    the First United Methodist Church of
    Hammondsport, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Pleasant Valley
    Cemetery, Hammondsport.
    Friends may call at the funeral home
    Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
    Mrs. Sheehan had spent most of her
    life in the Hammondsport area, and had
    resided in Penn Yan since 1967. She was
    a supervisor for Mercury Aircraft, Inc.,
    Hammondsport.
    She is survived by one son, John R. of
    Penn Yan; one sister, Mrs. Luella Lehman
    of Hammondsport; two grandchildren;
    and two nieces.

    today at the Weldon Funeral
    Home.
    A prayer service will be at 9:30
    a.m. Saturday at the funeral home
    followed by a Mass of Christian
    Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's
    Church. Burial will be in St.
    Michael's Cemetery.
    Mr. Sheehan was born April 30,
    J1911, son of John L. and Bertha
    Bergstresser Sheehan. He was a life
    member of the BPOE 1722 of Penn
    Yan.

    J Surviving are his wife, Ellen; one
    son, John of Penn Yan; one
    daughter, Mrs. David (Patricia)
    Cermak of Fairport; three grandchildren;
    and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Memorial contributions may be
    made to the Penn Yan Area Ambulance
    Corps or the Soldiers and
    Sailors Memorial Hospital Foundation.
