A native of the Town of Pendle
ton Mrs. Anna Schmidt, 90, died
Wednesday in Traverse City, Mich.
She was the widow of Joseph
Schmidt, a former Lockport rest
dent.
The nonagenarian was born Dec.
30, 1858 and shortly after her marriage
to Mr. Schmidt left for the
West, where the Schmidts made
.their home for more than 70 years.
She was the daughter of the tote
Sebastian and Mary Ann Bicker,
Pendleton.
Survivors Include a son, Joseph
Schmidt, and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph
Townsend, both of Traverse
City, end two sisters, Mrs. William
Baudendistel and Mrs. Frank Laubacber.
both of Lockport
Services will be held tomorrow
at the Church of the Immaculate
Conception in Traverse City.
