(nee Kohl) (Cobernus) Bizzaro, age 91, of the City of Tonawanda, Thursday, June 27, 2013, at her home. A native of Tonawanda, she was a 1940 graduate of Tonawanda High School, a long-time member of Salem United Church of Christ and a member of AARP and the Forever Young Group. Betty and her husband, Carlton, owned and operated John's Bike Shop on Main Street in Tonawanda for 19 years. Betty was also an avid card player with numerous friends and family. She was the wife of the late Carlton R. Cobernus and the late Patrick Bizzaro; and sister of the late Charlotte Bedell and Edna Braddell. She is survived by three children, Thomas (Lorraine) Cobernus of Savannah, GA, Linda (Martin) Sansone of Tonawanda, and John (Janet) Cobernus of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Cobernus, Wendy (Robert) Newell, Michael (Brianna) Sansone, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Danahy, John Jr., Dylan and Julia Cobernus and seven great-grandchildren, Christian, Cameron, Connor, Shane, Eva, Violet and Patrick. Also many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St., in Tonawanda. Friends invited. The Rev. Alice McDermott will officiate.     John's Story
    John M. "Johnny" Cobernus, Jr., age 24, of the Town of Wheatfield, March 19, 2018. Son of John M. and Janet (nee Eberle) Cobernus; brother of Dylan and Julia Cobernus; and grandson of the late Carl and Betty Cobernus and the late Michael and Nola Eberle. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
    Johnny was a 2011 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and was a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan.
    Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM Friday in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome. The Rev. Jeremy Lopez will officiate. Please assemble at the church.
