    Benjamin Bishop, life-long resident
    of North Tonawanda, died
    this morning at the Niagara county
    infirmary. He was 64 years old.
    He was a member of the Live Hose
    company and the North Tonawanda
    Firemen's Benevolent association.
    Surviving are a daughter,
    Mrs. Henrietta McKeehan; a son,
    Frederick; a granddaughter, North
    Tonawanda; a brother Frederick
    and a sister, Mrs. Louise McKnight
    Buffalo. Rites will be held Thursday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock from
    Wattengel's Funeral Home, Oliver
    street. Rev. Theodore Mayer will
    officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.

    McKeehan, 75, of 720 Shad St..
    North Tonawanda, died Friday
    (Dec. 29, 1972) at the Newfane
    Nursing Home, following a long
    illness.
    Mrs. McKeehan was the
    daughter of the late Benjamin
    and Lena Tesch Bishop and is
    survived by one daughter, Mrs.
    Robert (Jean) Aschensach of
    North Tonawanda and two
    cousins, Milford Bishop of Tona
    wanda and Helen Janke of
    Farming ton Mich.
    Mrs. McKeehan was a lifelong
    resident of the Tonawandas and
    was a former employe at the
    Wurlitzer cafeteria and at
    Tonawandas Post 264.
    American Legion.
    Friends may call from 7 to 9
    p.m. Monday at the Hilliard
    Funeral Home Inc., 147 Delaware
    St., Tonawanda, when
    services will be conducted at 2
    p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Frank
    E Wright of North Presbyterian
    Church officiating Interment
    in Elmlawn Cemetery
    Memorials may be made to the
    American Cancer Society.

    Funeral services were conducted
    by Rev. G. Taylor Wright of the
    North Presbyterian church for .Miss
    Mabel Bishop at Ihe Bishop home,
    No. 14.1 Thompson street, at 2:.10
    o'clock yesterday afternoon. The
    services were largely attended. Seven
    girls of Fenton & Sons Fibre Box
    Company's office force, where Miss
    Bishop was formerly employed, acted
    as flower carriers. They were the
    Misses Emma Markovitz, Stella
    Pmith, Alice Rose, Dorothea Jenzen,
    Eleanor Krell, Viola Gentz, and Genevieve
    Mallie The pallbearers were
    Daniel Ernest, John Hay, Albert
    Krueger, William Stryker. Jr. Earl
    Thompson and Howard Osman. Burial
    was at Elmlawn

    NORTH TONAWANDA. July 27-
    Fred Bishop. 31 years old, formerly of
    North Tonawanda, was yesterday turned
    over to authorities at Fort Niagara
    charged with being a deserter from the
    United States army. Bishop enlisted
    from Pittsburgh, Pa., several years ago
    and was assigned to Battery D 59th
    Artillery, stationed at Fort Mills, Philip-
    pine Islands.
    He was later transferred to Fortress
    Monroe, Virginia, from which camp he
    deserted several months ago, army of-
    ficers say. Officer Edward Kasbaum
    arrested Bishop and removed him to
    Fort Niagara yesterday. He will face a
    court martial.
