    An employe of the Town of Cam-
    bria highway department for five
    years, Elton E.. Meahl, 58, died un-
    expectedly at 1 o'clock this morn-
    ing of a heart attack at his home
    on the Lower Mountain Road. ,
    Mr. Meahl was born in Akron and
    Feb. 7, 1888, and was educated in
    the Akron Schools. For 23 years
    he operated a farm' In the Town
    of Lockport.
    Surviving are his wife, Nora; two
    daughters, Mary E. Meahl. Cory,
    Pa.; and Mrs. Russell Parker, Warren's
    Corners; a brother, Warren
    Meahl, Orchard Park and a sister,
    Mrs. Edward Yocum, Clarence.
    Services will be held Thursday
    at 2:30 at the home, Cambria Center.
    Burial will be in Bloomingdale
    Cemetery, Akron.

She was born in Lockport on April 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Elton and Nora Brucker Meahl. Eleanor worked for Niagara County  Social Services. She was a member of Warrens Corner United Methodist Church, Newfane Golden Agers, the Red Hats and was the Secretary for Budd Rd. Cemetery. Eleanor loved her time with family and her church family and enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, playing cards, entertaining and her cats. Mother of Sharon (Ted) Anderson, Carol Gavin, Julie (Chuck) DerSarkissian and the late Thomas Parker. Grandmother of Jamie and Jessica Gavin and Rachel and Charles (Leticia) Parker. Great grandmother of Alexis and Abby Gavin. Sister of Mary Mansfield. Mother in law of Maryann Parker the late John Gavin. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Friday July 6, 2018 from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be held in Warrens Corners United Methodist Church 5293 Stone Rd. Lockport, NY on Saturday July 6, 2018 at 10AM. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Warrens Corners United Methodist Church or Budd Rd. Cemetery.
