William Bixler died on Saturday
morning. Dec. 12. aged 48 years. He
leaves to mourn his loss a widow and
two daughters, Mrs. John Bistoff and
Miss Bumis Bixler, one son, Westley
Bixler, and seven sisters and two
brothers-. The funeral will take place
from his late residence. No. 21 Webb
street, on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
The interment will be in Corwin's
cemetery.

Newfane, Nov. 2-Charles D.
Blxler, retired Newfane farmer,
71 years old, died Tuesday morning
at t h e home of his sister, Mrs
Thomas Richards of West avenue.
Newfane, following a month's illness
and two recent operations at
Lockport City hospital.
Mr. Bixler was born in Newfane,
where he had always resided. He
owned a large farm on the Dale
road, and was a prosperous farmer.
The funeral will be held from
his sister's home Thursday afternoon
at 3 o'clock, with the Rev.
A. P. Goodwin, of the Baptist
church, officiating. Burial Will be
in Corwin cemetery. Mrs. Richards
is the only surviving relative.

Jefferson Ave., Buffalo, died Friday
(Feb. 12. 1960) in Meyer Memorial
Hospital, Buffalo, where
she had been a patient for three
months.
She was born in Lockport, the
daughter of William and Amelia
Bixler, and moved to Buffalo
about 50 years ago.
Survivors include two nieces,
Mrs. Oliver Skeets and Mrs. Al-
bert Gillings, both of Lockport.

A native of Newfane, he

Dowding Bixler.
He had been a home improvement
salesman in the
area before his retirement
several years ago.
He Is survived by two

Former Deputy Sheriff Howard
G. Allison. 215 Ontario St., died
yesterday at Lockport City hospital
after a long illness.
She was born in Lockport,
daughter of Charles and Florence
Coulter, and had lived here all her
life. She was a member of B. Leo
Dolan Post 410, American Legion
Auxiliary, and the Altar and Rosary
Society of St. Patrick's church.
Surviving are a son, Joseph G.
Allison, this city, three grandchildren;
a haif sister and a half brother.
Last rites will be held Monday
at 9 a.m. from the Taylor and
Reynolds Funeral home and at
9:30 at St. Patrick's Church with
burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
