James G. Blackburn, 57 years
old, 39 Fremont street, died Wednesday
in the City hospital at
Buffalo. He had been in failleg
health for a long time. He was
born in Kansas and had lived in
Tonawanda for the past 39 yean.
Blackburn was a member of
North Buffalo Lodge, No. 527, I.
O. O. F., and the Tonawandas
Aerie, No. 1411, F. O. E.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Dorothy Lewis and Miss Julia
Blackburn, both of Buffalo, and
two sons. Glen and James Blackburn,
Tonawanda. The funeral
wiH be held from the residence
at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
Burial will be in the Sweeney
cemetery.

Blackburn, 74, of Washington,
D.C., entered into rest on
Wednesday (Feb. 12, 1975). She
was a native of Tonawanda and
Buffalo. She is survived by her
sister, Judy Ganoe of Buffalo
and nieces and nephews, she
was the sister of the late James
K Blackburn and Glen M.
Blackburn.
A memorial service will be
held at 1 p.m., Feb. 22nd at the
MacAIpine Presbyterian
Church, Bailey Avenue,
Buffalo, the Rev. Kenneth
Munson will officiate. In lieu of
flowers, memorials in her
memory may be made to
MacAIpine Presbyterian
Church Memorial Fund.

liam St., Tonawanda, unexpectedly
Monday (Jan. 29, 1973)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
A native of Tonawanda, he was
a member of St. Francis of
Assisi Church. He owned and
operated Clyde's Restaurant on
Delaware Street for 25 years
and for the past two years was
fireman custodian for both
School 45 in Buffalo and Riverview
Elementary School in
Tonawanda.
He is survived by his wife,
Dorothy H. (nee Rohlman)
Blackburn; two daughters, Mrs.
John (Constance) Cady of
Kenmore and Mrs. Dale
(Cheryl) Zdrojewski of
Tonawanda; five sons. Glen Jr.,
of Charlotte, Vt., Kenneth of
Sharpsville, Pa., Bruce of Ton-
awanda. David of Buffalo and
Michael Blackburn at home;
two sisters, Miss Dorothy
Blackburn of Washington, D.C.,
and Mrs. Judy Ganoe of Buffalo
and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth
Funeral Home, Morgan and
William Streets, Tonawanda,
where services will be held at 9
a.m. Thursday, followed by a
Mass of the Resurrection at St.
Francis of Assisi Church at 9:30
a.m., the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph
M. Miller officiating. Burial
will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
A prayer service will be conducted
at 8 o'clock this evening
by the Rev. David Griffin at the
