    NIAGARA FALLS —
    Rosalia M. Matarazzo, age 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2013 in Crestwood Health Care Center in Wheatfield where she has been a resident since 2008. She was born on August 9, 1919 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Emilia (Martucci) and Emilio Matarazzo.
    A Niagara Falls native she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. Miss Matarazzo worked for over thirty years in the credit office of Sears and Roebucks Department Store on Main St. in Niagara Falls and retired in 1981. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and friends.
    She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Rosalia was predeceased by her parents; her four siblings, the late Albert C. (Linda) Matarazzo, late Constantino (Ruth) Matarazzo, late Elvera (Salvatore) Ferraro and the late Carmella (Joseph) Molis.
    The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Miss Matarazzo's memory to WNY Alzheimer's Association, 2805 Wehrle Dr. Suite #6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
