Mrs.. Restell was well known here

Lutheran church for many years.
She Is survived by her husband,

of Pittsburg, and four daughters, Mrs.

Clayre Rank, a teacher for the Merced City School District for over 35 years passed away on January 30th 2014 from brain cancer. Clayre was born in Niagara Falls in 1936 to Edith and Al Roth. She was an avid traveler, loved to educate herself on any and all things and was constantly striving to spread her knowledge to any willing ear. She met her best friend and husband Sterling at 13 and after graduation from Fresno State; they married and began their careers as educators. Upon retirement from the school district, she spent much of her time enjoying her family, adopting dogs, reconnecting with family and collecting trinkets. A devoted mother, grandmother and sister, she was loved to the fullest extent by her three children, Pam, Randy and Rick, as well as their partners, her grandchildren Sarah, Aimee and their mother Eileen, her husband Sterling and her sister Barbara. To say she will be sorely missed is an understatement. Family, friends and former students are invited to gather Friday, February 7, at 5pm at Ivers & Alcorn 901 W. Main St, Merced to honor her, share stories & celebrate her life. She will be buried Saturday, February 8, at 11am at Belmont Memorial Park 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno. Flowers may be sent to Ivers and Alcorn or donations made to the Margaret Sheehy School Fund.

Edward L. Kelly Obituary
Edward L. Kelly, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at his home. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 40 years. Edward Leo Kelly was born on August 17, 1931 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Ray and Cecile (Roth) Kelly. He served our country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was very active with the Sertoma Club and served as President for two clubs. He volunteered with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, was a former President of Christmas Unlimited, and was a former Grand Knight with the Non-commissioned Officers Association. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Ramona; four sons: Grant (wife, Brenda) Kelly, Gary (wife, Connie) Kelly, Gregory Kelly, and Mark Strickland; his daughter: Elise (husband, Stephen) Slack; and his sister, Nancy Havilland of Niagara Falls, New York. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Joann and Mary Jane. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior. WEST LAFAYETTE, IN — Mary Jane Lenz Barr, 74, of West Lafayette, IN, died February 2, 2011 at her residence. Born November 15, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Cecile Roth Lenz.

She was a 1954 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and a 1978 graduate of Ivy Tech. She married William Holloway in July 1955 in Niagara Falls. Her second marriage was to Harry L. Barr on September 4, 1984, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1997. Mrs. Barr was an L.P.N. at the Indiana Veteran’s Home for 22 years before retiring in 1998. She then worked at McAllister Recreational Center. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Beck (husband, Timothy) of Pendleton, Diana Holloway of Pittsboro, IN and Tammy Kerr of Brookston, IN; a step-daughter, Cynthia Stogsdill; a sister, Nancy Haviland of Niagara Falls; and a brother, Edward Kelly of Colorado Springs, CO. Three granddaughters and three step-granddaughters also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn D’Aloise and Patricia Lenz.

Visitation from 3 PM to service at 4:30 PM on Tuesday at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Chapel. Celebrant, Carla Ellis officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the American Lung or Cancer Society.

yesterday afternoon in Memorial
hospital at burns- wtrtctrsrnrsuffered
yesterday morning in her home.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the
Cobler funeral home. 640 Park place,
with Dr. Arthur H. Schmoyer, of the
Zlon Evangelical Lutheran church,
officiating. Burial will be ln Oakwood
cemetery.
The child was burned yesterday
morning at 10 o'clock and was rushed
to Memorial hospital just as
her mother was being discharged
after having been treated for illness.
Hospital attendants quoted
the father as saying that while he
was busy preparing breakfast the
little girl arose from bed and picked
up a match which she struck.
The flame ignited her clothing and
when her father reached her her
clothing was ablaze. He wrapped
her in a rug.

NIAGARA FALLS - Nancy Jean Haviland, age 72, of Niagara Falls, passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her home. She as born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 28, 1941, a daughter of the late William and Cecil (Roth) Lenz.

Nancy attended local schools, graduated from Niagara Falls High School and was employed as a Nurse Assistant at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was a loving and devoted mother and companion, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Joseph (Lisa) Allan of Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Joanne Deloise and Ed Roth; grandchildren, Patrick Pryor and Paige and Brandon Allan; and longtime companion, Harry Richards.

There will be no prior visitation. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.
