Frances L. Bloom, 79, of
Medina died Saturday in tile
Medina Memorial Hospital
following a long illness.
Mrs. Bloom was born March
23,1099, in Poland and came to
America as a young girl.
She was a member of the
Sacred Heart Church and a
member of the Ladies Rosary
Her husband, James died in
1909.
She is survtvied by two sons,
Bernard of Medina, and James
of Ashevllle, N.C.; three
grandchildren; a bother, Anthony
Lewandowski of Medina,
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the
Gulinski Funeral Home, 420
Eagle St., followed by a Mass of
Christian burial at 10 a.m. at
Sacred Heart Church wtth
Msgr. Eugene MarcinHewicz
officiating. Burial at St.
Joseph's Cemetery, Albion.
The family will be present 2-4,
7-0 at the funeral home.
Members of the Ladies
Rosary Society will meet
Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral
home to recite the rosary.

James Lee Bloom, 25, of 5 North
Main St., Middleport, died suddenly
Saturday morning.
He was born July 7, 1960 in
Batavia, to James L. and Edna
(Riley) Bloom Sr. of Medina. He
lived in the Medina area most of his
life, and attended Medina High
School. He served in the U.S. Army-
Reserves for six years, entering in
1980, and was a porter for Interstate
United Management Services Corp.
of Tonawanda. He was a member of
the Church of Brotherly Love in
Elba.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy
(Cunningham) Bloom; one son,
James Lee Bloom III, Middleport;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James L.
Bloom Sr. of Medina; three sisters,
Mary Ann Bloom and Marie Ann
Bloom, Shaunkia Bloom, all of
Medina; four brothers, Edward
Charles Bloom of Medina, Anthony
Bloom of Brockport, Raymond
Bloom of Colorado, and Norman
Bloom, Medina; his paternal
grandmother, Annie Mae Bloom of
Batavia; his paternal greatgrandmother,
Louise McCarry of
Batavia; his maternal grandfather,
Oscar Riley of Medina; his mother
and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Willie (Lucy) Cunningham of Lockport;
and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday (7-9) at
the Barnes-Tuttle Inc. Funeral
Home, 226 Pearl St. A funeral service
will be held Wednesday at 2
p.m. at Glad Tidings Baptist Church
in Medina.
Burial will be in Boxwood
Cemetery.
