    Son of the late Walter Carmer & Mildred Wylupek. Brother of the late Valerie Capen. Father of Brian (Tracy) Carmer and Gerald B. (Richele) Carmer Jr. Grandfather of Andrew (Samantha), Brandon and Taylor Carmer; uncle of Daniel and Michael Capen.
    Served in the US Navy from 1951-1954.
    His request was to donate his body to UB Anatomical Gift Program.
    No services but donations can be made in his honor to University at Buffalo Foundation, Box 900, Buffalo, NY 14226-0900. Check made out to University at Buffalo Foundation - Account #9333-086126.
