    RANSOMVILLE —
    Vennis Earlene Krantz, age 72, of Ransomville, NY, died on Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport after a long illness.
    Vennis Earlene was born on August 16, 1941 in Jesse, WV, the daughter of the late Jess and Audrey (Cecil) Cook. She married Vincent G. Krantz, Sr. on July 28, 1961 and they have lived in Ransomville the past 32 years.
    Vennis Earlene owned and operated Hairstyling by Vennis in Ransomville for 25 years. She then worked as a secretary for the late Dr. Subash Ramchand, MD in Niagara Falls for four years until 2008. Vennis Earlene was a devoted member of the Greater Niagara Falls Church of God in Sanborn. Her family and grandchildren were the loves of her life.
    In addition to her husband, Vincent, she is survived by her children, Terri Lynn (Glenn) Daly of Jacksonville, FL, Vincent G. Krantz, Jr. of Ransomville, and Kenneth Krantz of Gasport, NY; two brothers, Sandy and Craig Cook both of West Virginia; and eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Arvil, Ronnie, and David Cook.
    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Sunday from 3-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 30th at 10:30 AM in the Greater Niagara Falls Church of God, 2334 Lockport Rd., Sanborn, with the Rev. Joseph Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials to "The Missions" of the Church.
