Barre-John Bovanizer, formerly
of Brockport and Barre, died Tuesday
in Cleveland, Ohio, in the home
of a daughter, Mrs. Willis Chrisman.
Besides Mrs. Chrisman, he is survived
by three other daughters,
Mrs. William Pittman and Mrs.
George Daum of Barre, and Mrs.
Anna Jones of Albion; a son, John
Jr., and several grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren. Funeral
services will take place at 2:30
tomorrow iri the funeral home at
160 Main St., Brockport, with burial
in Beach Ridge Cemetery, Brockport.

Clapp, wife of Myron Clapp and a former
resident of Byron, died on Monday
morning at the home of her sister, Mrs.
Willis Chrlsman, in Cleveland, 0. She
had been in poor health lor a number of
years.
Mrs. Clapp, who was a daughter of
John H. and the late Mary J. Bovanlser,
waa born at Brockport on September 20,
1876, She was married to Mr. Clapp en
November 5, 1886, and they lived In Byron
after their marriage. Sixteen years
ago they moved to Cleveland.
Besides her husband and the sister st
whose home she died, Mrs. Clapp leevee
two sons, Harold and Arnold Clapp of
Cleveland: her father and two brothers,
John A. and Frank A. Bovanlser, all of
Niagara Falls, and three sisters, Mrs.
Frank Jones of Byron, Mrs. William
iPlttman of Albion and Mrs. George
Daum of Bam. The funeral will be held
from the Beach Ridge chapel at Brockport
at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and

of Hugh I. Bovanizer, 32 years
old, will be held at the family home,
5416 Buffalo avenue, at 2.30 o'clock
Saturday afternoon. He died at
Saranac Lake late last night after a
long illness.
Mr. Bovanizer was a native of Niagara
Falls and was well known. He
was a member of Niagara Falls
lodge, No. 346, B. P. O. Elks. Besides
his widow, Mrs. Norma Gray Bovanizer,
and four brothers, Roy, George,
Kenneth and Raymond, all of this
city.

Memorial Hospital after a
short illness.
Mr. Pittman was born April

He had lived in the Medina
area most of his life. He had
farmed in his early years. He
had worked for 15 years for
Middleport Lumber Co. in
Middleport until his retirement
in 1968. He was a member of
the Senior Citizens of Western
Orleans.

Paul Robert Bovanizer, nineyear-
old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
R. Bovanizer, 190 59th St., died
unexpectedly at Mt. St. Mary's
Hospital yesterday after an operation
for appendicitis.
Paul was taken to the hospital
for surgery on Friday apparently
for a juptured appendix.
He was born in Syracuse and
was a member of a Cub Scout pack
there. He attended the fourth grade
at the Sixty-sixth Street School in
this city and was a member of the
LaSalle YMCA.
Besides his parents, he is survived
by two sisters, Carol and
Nancy Bovanizer, and his grandparents,
Mrs. Ruth Bovanizer and
Mr. and Mrs. William Forbes, all
of this city.
Funeral services will be conducted
at the Hardison-Ingram Funeral
Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday
by the Rev. Ray K. Hallin.
Burial will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery.

Notes:

Michael Scott Bovanizer, lifetime area resident, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home in Youngstown. Mike was born in Niagara Falls in 1962, the son of the late Raymond Charles Bovanizer and Carolyn Cowe Bovanizer Slessor.
His interests always included cars and he became an auto mechanic and worked at many places in the Niagara area. He always wanted to see what his uncles James Cowe and Andrew Cowe were working on for they were both excellent car restorers.
Mike had a close relationship with his aunt Pat Bovanizer during his growing up years. She tried to get him into sports but his only interest was cars.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn Slessor, his sister Kathleen Bovanizer who resides in Colorado, his stepfather George Slessor and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike is no longer in pain.
Private services and entombment were held at Riverdale Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston. A quiet time of remembrance was also held in Scotland with relatives of Mike's mother as this is where his mother and stepfather now reside.

Dawn Eileen Fiedler (Wagner), age 66, formerly of Boylston, NY, passed away April 1st in Florida. She had resided in Florida since 2009. Dawn was born July 16, 1950, the daughter of Jack and Barbara Pittman Wagner.
She graduated from Barker High School in 1968 where she played bass clarinet and was selected for All State Band. Dawn also graduated from Albany Memorial School of Nursing in 1971. Dawn married Richard G. Fiedler on February 15, 1975. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for Hospice of CNY, retiring in 2007. Dawn was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and she coached Sandy Creek Little League Softball. She volunteered at NOCA for many years and was a paramedic and Director of Operations. Dawn enjoyed camping, bowling, golf and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; three daughters, Amy (John) Horack of Adams Center, Kimberly (Seth) Prater of Dayton, OH, and Michele (Michael) Zimmermann of Redfield; four brothers, David Wagner of Washington, Jeffrey Wagner of Medina, NY, Jack Wagner of New Hampshire, and Lawrence Wagner of Clarence, NY; five grandchildren, Carter, Madison, Benjamin, Henry and Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 15th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the funeral.
