Mary J. Hoover (Braegas) age 81, of North Tonawanda, September 25, 2017 in Beechwood Nursing Home, where she has resided for the last five years. Mary along with her late husband Paul Hoover founded P&M Printing in 1966, which became Pioneer Printers in 1986. Mary had been a former member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild and had been a former youth counselor. She is currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had been a member of the V.F.W. Drum Corps.
Beloved mother of Tracy (William) Schultz of Grand Island, Carl (Valerie) Hoover of North Tonawanda, and Peter (Janet) Hoover of Waterford, MI. Grandmother of Cortny Frank, Roberta (Patrick) Callocchia, Billy (Katie) Schultz, Jacqueline Berecz, Paul (Candy) Hoover, Joshua (Vittoria) Hoover, Stephen Hoover. Great grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Brody and Janet Duquette. Aunt of Cecile Boyle and Kevin Duquette and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will be by her side to welcome family and friends on Tuesday from 4 - 8 P.M. at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M., interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
