    John T. Brandt, 65, a farmer of
    the Irish road, seven miles south
    of Wilson, dropped dead in
    the Wilson State bank yesterday
    afternoon from a sudden attack of
    heart trouble. He had Just filed chambers
    a proof of claim to his deposits in
    the bank, which has been closed
    about a month, and was leaving the
    building when stricken.
    Mr. Brandt is survived by his
    wife,' a son, Fred, two brothers,
    Frank of Wilson and Joseph of Penfield,
    three sisters, Mrs. Bert Foster
    and Mrs. Albert Maacks of Ransomvllle,
    and Mrs. Fred Bartz of
    the town of Lockport, and two
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the home on Sunday afternoon at
    2:30 o'clock and burial will be in
    the North Ridge cemetery.

    RANSOMVILLE, Aug. 25-Services
    for Joseph H. Brandt, 72,
    former resident of Niagara county,
    who died Tuesday in his home in
    Bryant, Wis., will be held at 2:30
    Sunday in the home of his sister,
    Mrs. Albert Maacks, Lockport road,
    one mile east of Ransomville. Burial
    will be in North Ridge cemetery.
    Mr. Brandt was born in Wilson
    and resided in that vicinity until he
    took up residence In Wisconsin
    many years ago.
    Besides Mrs, Maacks, he is survived
    by his wife, Mrs. Bertha
    Brandt, and a son. Frederick, both
    of Bryant; and two other sisters,
    Mrs. Ida Foster, Ransomville; and
    Mrs. Lucy Bartz, Lockport.

    Lucy Bartz of Lockport. Friends may
    call at the home until 11 AM.
    Tuesday when the remains will be
    taken to Ransomville Baptist Church
    for services at 2:30 P.M., the Rev

    Ida Brandt Foster, 69. one of the
    best known residents of Ransomville,
    died Saturday at hes. Main
    street home following a short Illness.
    She was the widow of C. B.
    Foster.
    Mr. and Mrs Foster formerly operated
    the C. B, Foster Hardware
    company here until Mr. Foster died
    In 1933. Mrs. Foster then continued
    to operate the business until she retired
    two years ago.
    Mrs. Foster was born In the Town
    of Wilson, December 30. 1879, and
    was a graduate of the Wilson high
    school and the Wilson training class.
    She taught school In the area for
    ten years previous to her marriage.
    She was an active member and
    past patron of Ransomville Chapter
    374, Order of Eastern Star, and
    served as Its secretary for 19 years.
    8he was a member of the Order of
    the Amaranth, Niagara Falls, and
    the lebanon White Shrine, Buffalo.
    She formerly served as treasurer
    of the Ransomville school for many
    years. She was a member of Niagara
    Rebekah Lodge, Youngstown, the
    Ladies Auxiliary, Ransomville Fire
    company, and the Ransomville Baptist
    church.
    The OES will conduct special
    services at the Foster home tonight
    at 9 o'clock. Friends may call there
    until 11 a. m.. tomorrow when the
    body will be removed to the Baptist
    church where services will be held
    at 2:30 p. m., tomorrow. The Rev.
    A. E. Jefferson will officiate. Interment
    will be in North Ridge cemetery.
    Mrs. Foster Is survived by one
    son, Roy P. Foster. Niagara Falls,
    and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Maacks,

    Main Street, Ransomville, died
    Friday (April 26, 1963) at Inter-
    Community Memorial Hospital,
    Newfane, after a short illness.
    A former resident of the Lewiston
    Road, Middleport, Mrs. Fiegl
    was bom June 18, 1896 at Wilson.
    A homemaker all of her life, she
    leaves a son, Robert Bartz and a
    step-daughter, Mrs. William Steblein,
    both of Lockport.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4
    and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prudden
    and Kandt Funeral Home,
    242 Genesee St. where funeral
    services will be held at 2 p.m.

    a lengthy illness.
    Born April 14, 1899 in the

    (Koeppen) Brandt. Before his
    retirement, he had operated a
    farm at the Irish Road address
    for most of his life.
    He was the husband of the
    late Gladys (Sherman) Brandt,
    who died in 1936.

    Brandt of Appleton; also nine

    Obituary of Mary Ann Rutherford

    Mary Ann "Mona" Rutherford passed away on June 22, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her family under Hospice care. 
    Mary Ann was born in 1951 to Theresa and  the late John Brandt Sr.  She was the eldest of her 8 siblings, John (Robin Wittcop) Brandt Jr., Susan (George) Hale, Nancy (Duane) Bartlett, Cynthia (John Otto) Webb, and the late Barbara (late Ralph) Sharrow, Jean (Tony) Dagonese, and James (Melissa) Brandt.  
    Mary Ann was married to Roy "Chip" Rutherford for 45 years and they raised 6 children together, Joseph (Nichole) Brandt, Penelope Salter, Teresa Alvine, Rhonda Rumschik, Renee (Vito) Andriacco & Roy "Moose" Rutherford III.  The family home was the hub of activity for her children and their friends while they were growing up. Consequently she was "mom" to more than just her children. 
    Mary Ann was blessed with 14 grandchildren Tuesday Goodband, Andrew Payne, Cody Brandt, Ukari Mulkey, Ryan Rutherford, Nickolas Brandt, Joseph Brandt Jr., Dakota Rumschik, Reese Rutherford, Peyton Brandt, Rylee Rutherford, Austin Rumschik, Jayden Rutherford and Elise Andriacco and 4 great grandchildren.   She was also Aunt, Sister in Law, Cousin and Friend to many more who loved her dearly. 
    Mary Ann was full of life with a big personality.  She was retired from Harrison Radiator and nothing filled her heart with more joy than spending time with her family, her “puppers” Rusty, Chico, K.C. and Fluffers, loud country music and a good laugh. 
    The family is planning a private service to celebrate her life.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Niagara Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home.

    James 'Jim' Edward Brandt, beloved husband, father and papa drew his last breath on February 19, 2018. Jim was born October 3, 1962 to Theresa (nee Schafer) Brandt and the late John Brandt. Jim was the brother to, Mary Ann (Roy) Rutherford, John (Robin Wittcop) Brandt, Susan (George) Hale, Nancy (Dwayne) Bartlett, Cindy (John Otto) Webb, Joe (Nichole) Brandt, Lee (Donna) Witkop and the late Barbara (Ralph) Sharrow, Jean (Anthony) Dagonese. He was the step father to Brandon (Bethany) Duchow, Freddy (Kelli) Duchow, and Andrew McCulloch; proud papa to Summer Duchow, Chloe Duchow, A.J. McCulloch II, and Wesley Duchow. Jim was a special great uncle to more than 23 nieces and nephews and many other great nieces and nephews.
    Jim loved spending time with his family, going to Home Depot, taking care of his fur babies Cocoa, Pup Pup, and Buddy. He was always ready to lend a hand big or small. Jim had a big heart with a special place in it for Jessie and Whitney Wittcop.
    Relatives and friends may call Friday, Feb. 23rd from 2-5 PM with services at 5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
