    Ridge Road died today (Feb.
    6, 1971) at Medina Memorial
    Hospital.
    He was born Oct. 4, 1878, in
    the Town of Royalton, the son
    of Christian Brege. and the
    former Emilie Smith.
    Mr. Brege and his widow,
    the former Delia Rhinehart, recently
    celebrated their 74th wedding
    anniversary.
    He was a retired farmer and
    also had worked at Harrison
    Radiator Division of General
    Motors Co., in Lockport. He was
    a member of the Royalton Cen:
    ter Methodist Church.
    In addition to his widow, he
    is survived by one daughter,
    Mrs. William Saham of Middleport;
    two brothers, Albert and
    Frank Brege, both of Medina;
    two sisters, Mrs. Revere Ackerson
    of East Aurora and Mrs.
    Henry Pechuman of Lockport;
    four grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren,
    three greatgreat-
    grandchildren, and several
    nieces and nephews.

    Gray, 82, of the Alleganey
    Road, Town of Alabama, a native
    of the Town of Royalton,
    died this morning (May 7, 1968)
    at Genesee Memorial Hospital,
    Batavia, after a short illness.
    Born July 18. 1885 in the
    Town of Royalton, she was
    daughter of Christian and Amelia
    Smith Brege. She was a res
    idem of this vicinity most of her
    life.
    Mrs. Gray was affiliated with
    the Alabama Baptist Church.
    Her husband, LaVerne Gray,
    died eight years ago.
    Surviving are one daughter,
    Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Eick of the
    Town of Alabama; three grand
    children; three brothers, Fred
    Brege of Middleport and Frank
    and Albert Brege of Medina;
    and three sisters, Mrs. Amanda

    Horse Killed
    BARKER - A 38-year-old
    man was injured early Monday
    morning when his auto struck
    and killed a stray horse on the
    County Line Road, about onebalf
    mile north of Millers.
    Treated at Medina Memorial
    Hospital for body bruises was
    Robert Thiel of the County Line
    Road. He was not admitted.
    Albion State Police said Thiel
    was traveling south about I
    a.m. when his auto hit the
    horse, killing it instantly. The
    car then rolled over and was
    demolished. A neighbor summoned
    State Police after she
    heard the crash.
    The horse was owned by Theodore
    Cook of the County Line
    Road. State Police said it strayed
    from a nearby pasture.

    Maplewood Nursing Home,
    Webster, following a short
    illness.
    Mr.. Brege was born in

    been a farmer and self employed
    carpenter in this area
    all of his life, and was a
    member of the Methodist
    Church.
    Survivors include two sons,
    Claude of Phelps and Harry of

    Middleport was held from their
    home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
    The services were conducted by the
    pastor of the Methodist church assisted
    by the pastors of the Presbyterian
    and Universalist churches.
    The deseased was a member of
    the. M. E. Church and attended the
    Seneca Vocational school at Buffalo
    at the time of his death.
    He was a youth of exceptional character
    and his untimely passing makes
    one ponder anew the uncertainties
    of human existence. He possessed a
    host of friends, who extend to tne
    bereaved ^family .their heartfelt
    sympathy. Interment write at West
    Ridgeway.

    19 grandchildren.

    Mr. Brege served as a sergeant

    Local 85 Carpenters Union of
    Rochester for 40 years.
    Surviving are his wife, Dorothea;
    three daughters, Karen Brege of
    Tonawanda, Anita and Kathleen
    Brege, both of East Rochester; two
    sons, William of Derby, N.Y., and
    Scott of Phelps; two grandchildren;
    one brother, Harry of Martinez,
    Ca.; several nieces and nephews.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions

    School of the Holy Childhood of
    Rochester or Victor-Farm ington
    Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

    Mr. Owen was born Jan. 21,

    late Howard and Lena (Brege)
    Owen. He resided at 7487
    Maple Road, Akron, where he
    was a self employed farmer.
    He was a member of the
    Akron Lions Club, was an
    Akron Agway committeeman

    for District 3.

    at Medina Memorial Hospital
    following a long illness.
    She was born Feb. 14,1921 in
    Medina, the daughter of
    George and Mildred (Cross)
    Brege. She was an insurance
    clerk for Charles Slack
    Insurance of Medina, and had
    lived in Middleport for several
    years. She was a member of
    the First Baptist Church of
    Medina. Her husband Louis
    Kimmich, died in 1973.
    Mrs. Kimmich is survived by
    three daughters, Mrs. William
    (Janice) Balzer of Erie, Pa.,
    Mrs. John (Judy) Keeley of
    Lockport, Mrs. James (Jean)
    Klippel of Warren, Ohio; one
    grandson, Karl Balzer, and one
    granddaughter, Allison
    Klippel; three brothers,
    George Brege of Spencerport,
    Irlevere Brege and Bruce
    Brege, both of Middleport, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    There will be no calling
    hours. A memorial service will
    be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at
    the First Baptist Church,
