The funeral of John Brigham,
aged ninety-one years, six months,
was held at his late home last Saturday,
with Rev. Ernest Scott officiating
and Interment at Somerset.
Mr. Brigham was born in England,
but came here when a young
man, where he has since resided,
meriting the respect of all who
knew him.
He Is survived by two grandchildren,
Howard and Irma Brlngham,
at home, besides several nelces and
nephews.
The bearers were Willis Snowdon,
Harry Haight, James Robbing, Herman
Hass, Charles Thlel and Fred
Thlel.

John married Harriett about 1871. Harriett was born in May 1843 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

MILLERS, June 13 - Herbert
Brigham. who died early Sunday of
pneumonia, and whose funeral was
held Tuesday afternoon, was born
on the farm on which he died,
town of Somerset In 1901 he married
Miss Mary Jesson, who with
their two children. Howard and
Irma, also his aged father, John
Brigham, survive.
For many years, Mr. Brigham had
been a member and active worker
in County Line Methodist church,
for ten years a trustee and steward
for several years librarian, and for
some years Sunday school superintendent,
and always a loyal and
self-sacrificing worker.

Herbert married JESSON, Mary in 1901. Mary was born about 1870 in New York; died in Aug 1940. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

A lifelong resident of the Town
of Somerset, Miss Erma M
Brigham, 61, of 1037 Burgess
Road, died Wednesday (Feb. 16,
1966) at the Newfane Nursing
Home, where she had been a
patient for about three weeks.
Born May 14, 1904, she was
the daughter of Herbert C. and
Mary J. Jesson Brigham. She
had lived all her life at the family
home on Burgess Road, and
was a lifelong member of County
Line Methodist Church.
Surviving are one brother,
Howard Brigham and a nephew,
George Brigham, both of Barker.
Friends may call from 2 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hood Funeral
Home, Barker, where funeral
services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev.
John H. Templeton Jr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.

Howard married WINKLEY, Elvera Caroline about Apr 1939. Elvera (daughter of WINKLEY, George and WOLFE, Amanda) was born on 17 Aug 1917 in New York; died on 26 May 2006 in Barker, Town of Somerset, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

BARKER — George H. Brigham, Sr. of Barker, NY, husband of the late Sharon M. Johnson Brigham, entered into rest Saturday, January 18, 2014, at home. He was born November 6, 1944, the son of the late Howard and Elvera Winkley Brigham.

George worked as a welder for Harrison Radiator in Lockport until his retirement in 1996. He married his wife, Sharon Johnson Brigham, August 21, 1968. She died June 27, 2012.

George was a member of the FASNY, Somerset Conservation Club, Life member of Barker Fire Company and an active member of West Somerset Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Father of Pauline (Bruce J.) Laubacker of Newfane, Mary (Joe) Burndt of Arkansas, George (Donna) Brigham, Jr. of Maine, and Amanda (Brian Hubert) Brigham of Lockport. Grandfather of Bruce (Kelsey) Laubacker, Jr., Caroline Laubacker, Braille, Van and Adorian Brigham. Great-grandfather of Tristin Laubacker. Nephew of Dorothy Pratt of Albion, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1708 Pallister Ave., Barker, NY, THURSDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held FRIDAY at 11:00 AM at West Somerset Baptist Church, 1876 Hosmer Road, Appleton, NY. Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Barker Fire Company, 1660 Quaker Road, Barker, NY 14012; or West Somerset Baptist Church, 1876 Hosmer Road, Appleton, NY 14008, would be appreciated by the family.
