Theodore J. Belling, 90, died October 18, 2022, at home under hospice care. He was born February 17th, 1932, to Josephine (Knoll) and George Belling in North Tonawanda, New York. Ted graduated from Alfred University and served in the US Army. He married Ruth Bossart on March 6, 1954 and they had 5 children, Linda (James) McOmber, Pamela, Douglas (Marianne) Belling, Tina
Benjamin and Laurie (Timothy) Jekel. He retired from Niagara County Department of Planning and Development. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, bird watching and traveling.
Ted is survived by his spouse and children, a sister, Mary Grove, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George “Bud” Belling, Paul Belling and Dorothy Belling.

James H. Schoenfeldt, age 91, of North Tonawanda at the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia, on January 22, 2015 after a long illness. Jim was a member of North Presbyterian Church where he was a former Elder and Trustee. He worked at Van Raalte as a Chemist and later retired from the Hooker Chemical/Occidental Petroleum Corp. where he was a Project Engineer for many years. Jim was a World War II U.S. Army and Army Air Corps Veteran. He served in the European Theater and Patton’s 3rd Army. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart. After the war, he attended Canisius College graduating in 1950 with a B.S. in Chemistry. Son of the late Herbert E. and Ruth Schoenfeldt. Husband of the late Dorothy (nee Nicholson) Schoenfeldt and father of the late David J. Schoenfeldt.

Beloved father of Beth (William) Exton of Perry, NY, Paul (Althea) Schoenfeldt of Richardson, TX and father-in-law of Laurie Schoenfeldt. Proud grandfather of six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends received by the family on Monday February 2, 2015 4-7 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home, (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at 11:00 at the North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Avenue, No. Tonawanda. Private interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery.

Jim treasured his family and was an attentive son, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He deeply valued his faithful friends. A lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, he held various positions, including representative of the finance committee and an elder. He also was a charter member of the Wheatfield Business Association. Schmidt enjoyed fishing, bowling and euchre. A lifelong resident of Wheatfield, he also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. His first wife, Jeanette Blaise Schmidt, died in 1975. Survivors include his second wife, the former D. Jean VanNorman; three sons, Lawrence of Fayetteville, Ga., Charles and Dennis; a daughter, Katherine Harrison of Aurora, Colo.; a stepson, Scott Nestler of Los Angeles; a stepdaughter, Lori Nestler of Amherst; two sisters, Hilda Jensen of North Tonawanda and Lavina Moll; and 10 grandchildren. War Veteran Dies Suddenly
TONAWANDA, March 20 - Robert H. Sattelberg, 30, Errick road, Town of Wheatfield, died, suddenly last evening while attending services at St. John's Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg. Mr. Sattelberg was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and a veteran of World War 2. He was employed by the Carborundum company, Niagara Falls, for more than ten years where he was a supervisor. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg, and the St. of the Johnsburg Volunteer Fire company and Tonawandas Post 64, American Legion. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sattelberg, Wheatfield; two brothers, Chester, North Tonawanda, and Roger, Town of Wheatfield. LOCKPORT — David J. Schoenfeldt, age 54, of the Town of Lockport, suddenly at the Erie County Medical Center on Sunday, June 5, 2011. David worked for the Lockport Union Sun and Journal in the Advertising Department. An avid Buffalo sports enthusiast, his favorite times were spent with friends and family enjoying the games. Loving caretaker of his father, James Schoenfeldt (the late Dorothy).

Loving husband of Laurie (nee Powell) Schoenfeldt of Lockport. Proud and loving father of Philip and Haley Schoenfeldt. Dear brother of Beth (William) Exton of Perry and Paul (Althea) Schoenfeldt of Richardson, TX. Also surviving are four nieces, a great-nephew and a great-niece.

Friends received by the family on Wednesday from 5-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 AM. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Park will be private. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Charles Kenneth Schmidt, 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 23, 2022. Known to many as Charlie, Chuck, Crackers or Schmitty. He will be remembered for his smile and jokes. Charlie was a life-long member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, where he served as Vice-President, Treasurer, Choir Director, and Sunday School teacher. Charlie was the former co-owner and operator of Bergholz Garage, and former owner of Kroening's Garage, in Sanborn. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company, where he was a former chief, and a former EMT with Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc. Charlie was the son of the late Harold and Jeanette M. Schmidt. Step-son of Jean Schmidt. Sweetie to his wife of 42 years, Laurie (nee Sprenger); Dad to his two children, Wayne (Molly) and Jeanette; Grampa to his two grandchildren, Maxx and Layla; brother to his three siblings, Dennis (Laurie), Larry (Lori), and Kathy (Leighton) Harrison, and step-brother to Lori (Brian) Burgin and Scott Nestler. Brother-in-law to Cindy (John) Kosek; Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, he was an exempt member of Bergholz Fire Company, active member and former President of the Buff Social Club, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Pamela Sattelberg Muncie, age 64, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Wake-Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Born to Helen (Martin) and the late Chester Sattelberg. She attended North Tonawanda Schools.

Surviving are her husband, Roger Muncie; a daughter , Lisa (Jeremy) Jones; a son, Christopher (Ashton) Muncie; 3 grandchildren, Jasmine, Hayden and Nathan; her mother, Helen Sattelberg; 2 sisters, Paula Kopf and Phyllis (Brad) Phillips; a brother, James (Geri) Sattelberg; a sister-in-law, Jackie Stukey; 2 brothers-in-law, Richard, (Darlene) Muncie and her dear friends, Kelly and Frank Todarello. Predeceased by brother-in-law Don Kopf.

BUFFALO — Daniel A. "Dano" Wolf, 42, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Margaret (Lasher) Wolf (Richard E. Baldwin) of Buffalo, NY, and the late Gerald C. Wolf.

Daniel attended local schools including Niagara Falls High School and the former Trott Vocational High School. He was employed as a carpenter for Warren Solariums, Inc., in Tonawanda, NY. He also worked as a bartender and bouncer for several area establishments. Daniel was an avid dart player and participated in several local tournaments. He also enjoyed watching movies and golfing.

In addition to his mother; he is survived by two children, James M. (Tiffany) Wolf of Niagara Falls, NY and Kayla D. Haren of Florida; two grandchildren, James Wolf, Jr. and Aaliyah Wolf; sisters, Lori Wolf, Mary (Richard) Keller, both of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother, Glenn (Jean) Wolf of Niagara Falls, NY; his nieces and nephews, Richard Wolf, Ashley Wolf, Brandon Steinman and Jessica Williams; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21st from 3:00 - 6:30 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 6:30 PM with Rev. Roy Herberger officiating.
