    John L. Brock, 77, of 537 Adam
    street, died early this morning
    in the DeGraff Memorial hospital.
    Born in Pennsylvania, he had resided
    in the Tonawandas the past
    60 years. He was a member of
    the local branch of the Orioles and
    the Second Degree Lodge of
    Orioles of Buffalo. Surviving are
    his wife, Mercie, nee Ward; five
    sons, Charles of Burbank, Calif.;
    Cpl. David Brock and Pfc Robert
    Brock, serving with the armed
    forces overseas, and Daniel and
    George, Tonawanda; four daughters,
    Mrs. John Marohn, Mrs. Paul
    Marohn, Tonawanda; Mrs. Edward
    Tussing of Florida and Mrs.
    Howard Hughes of Buffalo; 16
    grandchildren and one brother,
    Albert of North Tonawanda, Rites
    will be held Wednesday afternoon
    from the Hamp Funeral Home, 37
    Adam street. The Rev. Clarence
    A. Hanna will officiate. Burial
    will be in Elmlawn.

    at Columbus Hospital after a
    long illness.
    A lifelong resident of North
    Tonawanda, Mr. Brock had
    been employed by the Department
    of Public Works,
    North Tonawanda.
    He is survived by his wife,
    Mrs. Ruth M. Brock and a
    daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Mary)
    Gurba, both of Buffalo: two
    brothers, George Brock and
    David Brock, and a sister,
    Mrs. Paul (Jennie) Marohn, all
    of the Tonawandas: also surviving
    are many nieces and
    nephews.
    The family will be present
    from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on
    TUESDAY ONLY at the Hamp
    Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and
    Seymour Streets, Tonawanda,
    where funeral services will be
    held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
    Pastor David Kaplan officiating.
    Flowers are
    gratefullv declined bv the
    family.

She is survived by her husband, John "Jack" McNamara; two daughters, Nora Jean McNamara and Catherine (Robert) Szczublewski; a son, Keith (Sandie) McNamara; two sisters, Rose Marohn and Christine (Keith) Anderson; and a brother, Roger (Sherrie) Marohn. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Shannon McNamara; and several nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 AM on Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, William and Scott Streets, Tonawanda. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Szczublewski; her father, John McNamara; her sister, Nora J. McNamara; and her brother, Keith (Sandy) McNamara. There is no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Inurnment at St. Francis Chapel Columbarium.
