Anna Hedwig Brooks, wife of John
Brooks, prominent contractor and
builder of Philipstown died in the
home of their daughter, Mrs. Emil
Hrusa, at 6 o'clock Thursday morn
Ing.
The funeral will he held from the
l a t e home on Main street a t 2:30
Sunday afternoon. The interment will
be in the Cold Spring Cemetery, un
der the direction of Wm. A. Scully
undertaker.
Mrs. Brooks was born in. Sweden.
She leaves a record of faithful service
in the community.
Surviving are the husband, one
daughter, Mrs, Emli Hrusa; a sister
Mrs. Charlotte Person, of New York
city: a brother, David VanQuist of
Sweden and two grandchildren, John
and Dorothy Hrusa.

Anna married BROOKS, Junius F about 1916 in New York. Junius (son of BROOKS, Jacob and Laura) was born on 20 Aug 1880 in New York; died in Dec 1975 in Troy, Rensselaer County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
