    George W. Brotherton of Fillmore,
    a resident of Warsaw for
    the past year and a half, died at
    the Estabrooks Nursing Home on
    Thursday, April 20th. He was
    born in Wethersfield on April 13,
    1862, the son of Joseph and Mary
    Bryant Brotherton. His wife, Nina
    Hinz Brotherton, died a number
    of years ago, but he leaves three
    children, Joseph Brotherton of
    Cuba, Lorenzo Brotherton of Cleve
    land, Ohio, and Mrs. Dorsey Cannon
    of Fillmore, six grandchildren
    and nineteen great grandchildren.
    The funeral was held at the Weeks
    Funeral Home on Saturday, April
    22nd at 2:00 p. m. with the burial
    in Warsaw. The Rev. Victor Great
    orax of the Rock Glen Baptist
    church was the offciating clergyiman.
    Mr. Brotherton was affiliated
    with the Wesleyan Methodist
    church.

    Cuba Memorial Hospital, following
    a long illness. He was
    born Feb. 22, 1886 at Weathersfield,
    N. Y., the son of
    George Brotherton and Sylvia
    Bishop Brotherton. He
    has resided in Cuba since
    1913.
    The deceased is survived
    by a daughter, Georgia Brothton,
    Cuba; one son, Gerald
    Brotherton, Cuba; one grandchild;
    and one sister, Mrs.
    Emma Cannon, Fillmore.
    Services were conducted
    at the Loveridge Funeral
    Home Saturday, June 18.
    1960, at two o'clock. The Rev.
    Earl Bell, pastor of the First
    Methodist Church, officiated.
    Burial was in Cuba Cemetery

    the Wellaville Manor Nursing Home
    after a long illness.
    Born March 18, 1909, in Centerville,
    she was a daughter of Joseph
    M. and Allie Herrick Brotherton.
    Miss Brotherton had been employed
    by Cuba Memorial Hospital
    before her retirement.
    • Surviving are a niece, Mrs. John
    (Kay Lee) Adams of Cuba; and
    several cousins.
    She was predeceased by a brother,
    Gerald Brotherton.
    There was no visitation. Friends
    attended funeral and committal
    services Monday, September 14,
    1987, in the Nicholson Funeral
    Home, Cuba. The Reverend Larry
    Poelma, pastor of the Cuba First
    Baptist Church, officiated. Burial
    was in Cuba Cemetery
