    (Lyndonville) Richard D. Bruning age 80, passed away May 8, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1943 in Albion, a son of the late Louis and Dora (Eick) Bruning.

    Richard served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of S.C.O.P.E. He loved and built many computers, which he taught himself how to do.

    In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Roger, Russell and Ronnie.

    He is survived by his daughter Mae (Joseph) Mohney; grandchildren William, Jeffery, Christopher, Cassandra (Cody), Christina (Spencer) and Ella; great-granddaughter Charleigh; siblings Robert Bruning, Randy Bruning, Donna Bruning, as well as several nieces and nephews.

    There are no prior calling hours. His Funeral Service will be Friday May 10th at 11:00am at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. His burial with Military Honors will follow at Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    Waterport, died suddenly Sunday
    afternoon at Arnold Gregory
    Memorial Hospital, Albion.
    He was born Oct. 6, 1953 in
    Medina, and had lived in Lyndonville
    all of his life. He was a selfemployed
    logger, supplying fire
    wood to many area residents. He
    also worked on various fruit and
    dairy farms in the area.
    Survivors include his parents, Mr.
    and Mrs. Louis (Dora) Bruning of
    Lyndonville; five brothers, Richard
    Bruning of Lyndonville, Ronald
    (Yvonne) Bruning of Kansas,
    Robert Bruning of Albion, Russell
    iKim) Bruning of Lyndonville, and
    Randall Bruning of Medina; one
    sister, Mrs. Vanson (Donna)
    Warner of Albion; several aunts,
    uncles, nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call Tuesday (2-4, 7-
    9) at the Barnes-Tuttle Inc. Funeral
    Home, 112.N- Main St., where
    funeral services will bbe held Wed-
    nesday at 2 p.m.
    Burial will be in Royalton
    Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
    Memorial gifts may be made to
    the Heart Fund or the Lyndonville
    Volunteer Fire Co.

    Bonnie enjoyed kayaking, even going down the Genesee River and taking her dog “Chip” for walks at Day Rd. Park in Lockport. Bonnie loved her job at Eastern Niagara Hospital, planning to retire in 2023 after 30 years of working. Her family enjoyed her cooking, baking, and any food that was available that she made. Camping in the summer in the Southern Tier brought her so much peace and the only thing she loved more was her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
    Bonnie was predeceased by her mother, Shirley.
    Bonnie is survived by her loving partner of over 20 years, Jacob Ellsworth, children, Joshua (Ashley Porter) Quackenbush, Rebecca (Fiancé Aaron Gondola) Madden, grandchildren, Kenley, Michael, Cora, Adalina, Levi, Adriana, Taniya, Tianna, father, Robert Bruning, sisters, Laurie (Brian Cogar) Caleb, Cindy Haller, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Bonnie’s family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Tuesday, November 29th from 4:00-7:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery. of Life
