    (Lyndonville) Richard D. Bruning age 80, passed away May 8, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1943 in Albion, a son of the late Louis and Dora (Eick) Bruning.

    Richard served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of S.C.O.P.E. He loved and built many computers, which he taught himself how to do.

    In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Roger, Russell and Ronnie.

    He is survived by his daughter Mae (Joseph) Mohney; grandchildren William, Jeffery, Christopher, Cassandra (Cody), Christina (Spencer) and Ella; great-granddaughter Charleigh; siblings Robert Bruning, Randy Bruning, Donna Bruning, as well as several nieces and nephews.

    There are no prior calling hours. His Funeral Service will be Friday May 10th at 11:00am at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. His burial with Military Honors will follow at Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
