    Helen Christine Kyker, age 85, of Newport, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a year long sickness on Wednesday, March 26, 2014.

    She loved her family and loved to travel with her family.

    Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Hassie Bryant; her husband of 56 years, Bob Kyker; brother, Etheridge Bryant; and nephew, Wilbur Bryant.

    Left behind to mourn her loss were sons, Gary (Dorothy) Kyker, Jeff (Julie) Kyker; grandchildren, Shelly (Mitch) Kyker, Bart (Andee) Kyker, Derrek (Lauren) Williamson, and Katie Williamson; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brantley and Brayton Kyker and Chloe Williamson; brother, Lloyd (Mary Edith) Bryant and several nieces and nephews; special friends Jane Johnston of Ruidoso, New Mexico and Betty Phillips of Newport.
