SHAWNEE, July 12. - The funeral of Mrs. Hannah Forth, widow of William Forth, was held Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kempton Briggs, of Tonawanda. Mrs. Forth had been in good health and suffered a heart attack while at her nephew's home in Wilson. She had spent most of her life on a farm here. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Briggs, and four sons, Edward, of Tonawanda, Herbert, of the Shawnee road, Elmer, of North Tonawanda. and Raymond, of Pekin, and twelve grandchildren. Burial was in Shawnee cemetery.

NORTH TONAWANDA - Herbert P. Forth. 71, of Shawnee Road. Town of Wheatfield, died Saturday (March 6, 1965) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and was formerly employed by the Wurlitzer Co. for 51 years, retiring three years ago. Survivors include his widow, the former Ida Schultz; six sons, Carl Forth, Lockport. Edward Forth, Sanborn, LeGrand, Herbert Jr.,Paul, and Ernest Forth, all of this city ; a daughter. Mrs. Earl (Janet) Grosskopf, and a brother, Raymond Forth, both of this city. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brunner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.

NORTH TONAWANDA - LeGrand K. Forth, age 93, of North Tonawanda, January 3, 2011 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Margaret Forth who died in 2004. Mr. Forth was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and had retired from National Grinding Wheel. He was known for his carpentry work and he enjoyed bowling.

LOCKPORT — Ernest Charles Forth, 81 of Lockport, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2012 at Niagara Hospice surrounded by family.

A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy on board the USS New Jersey BB-62, in Turret 1 and was honorably discharged in July of 1954 as a Petty Officer, 2nd Class. Ernie served many years as an advocate for Heritage Christian Services.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert P. Forth; mother, Ida (Schultz) Forth; brothers, Carl, LeGrand, Herbert, Jr., Paul, Edward; and sister, Janet (Forth) Grosskopf. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Carol (Goodman) Forth; daughters, LouAnne Rehkopf (David), Cindy Forth, Brenda Bercier (Gary) and Lisa Forth; four grandchildren, Vicki Lyngstad (Karl), Christopher Rehkopf, Jeremy Bercier (Larissa), Angela Bercier; four great-grandchildren, Devion Bercier, Jacob Bild, Mason Lyngstad and Alexa Lockhart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport, on Friday, September 21st at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lockport Alliance Church,

NORTH TONAWANDA — Janet I. (nee Forth) Grosskopf, age 74, of the City of Tonawanda, Monday, January 10, 2011 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was the wife of Earl L. Grosskopf, who died in 1994. Janet had been employed at DeGraff Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years and was a member of Tonawanda Free Methodist Church. She was an avid sewer and seamstress, loved camping and was extremely charitable to those in need.

She is survived by five sons, Clyde (Kathleen) of Tonawanda, Richard (Deborah) of the Town of Tonawanda, Roger and Kevin (Joyce) of North Tonawanda, and Bryan (Deborah) of Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest (Carol) Forth of Lockport. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

The bride wore a gown of pale
blue taffeta with a lace yoke and
tiny buttons down the back, a corsage
of white pompons and pink
rosebuds tied with silver ribbon
and a tiara of pink rosebuds.
Miss Dorothy Forth, cousin of the
bride, was maid of honor, wearing a
pink taffeta gown fashioned with a
sweetheart neckline, a corsage of
white pompons and pink roses tied
with pink and a tiara. Roswell
Herman, brother of the groom, acted
as best man.
The bride's mother chose a blue
gown and the mother of toe groom,
wine color. Each wore a corsage of
red roses.
A wedding dinner was served In
Oeltz tea room with covers for 55
juesta at two long tables decorated
with pink and white pompons, and
pink and blue candles In crystal
holders. A four-tiered wedding
cake- adorned with the ornament
used at Mrs. Briggs' wedding was
placetUwfore the bride and groom.
Severfl bouquets of vari-colored
pompons were placed about the
room and a large white wedding
bell was suspended above the center
of the tables.
After the dinner, a reception was
held at the home of the bride for
100 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman left for a
wedding trip, the bride wearing for
traveling a plaid suit with Dubonnet
accessories.

Norene V. Zuch (nee Forth) age 81, a life-long resident of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away November 2, 2014 after a brief illness. Norene was a former employee of National Grinding Wheel and had worked as a secretary for Redeemer Lutheran Church, First Trinity Lutheran Church and for the Love Canal Revitalization Agency. She loved singing and had been a member of church choirs and the festival Chorus, she also loved sewing and reading.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Zuch who died in 2010. Beloved mother of Michael (Robin) Zuch of Rochester, NY, Richard Zuch of Paoli, PA, Randall and Stephen Zuch both of the Town of Wheatfield. Grandmother James (Erin) Donahue, Jeremy (Jennifer) Zuch, Jason and Joshua Zuch; great-grandmother of Caitlin and Danielle Donahue, Jayden and Justin Zuch. Sister of Rhea Parlier of Wheatfield and the late William Forth; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
