    Obituary of Frank J. Mietlicki
    Frank J. Mietlicki, 89 of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at home. Born in Lewiston, NY on January 7, 1933 he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Mojeski) Mietlicki. Frank entered the United States Marines on November 14, 1951 and was honorably discharged as a PFC on November 7, 1952. After serving his country he began working on the family farm and eventually at GrowMark. After retiring from working, he enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Miosga) Mietlicki; four children, Michele (Stephano) Pellicano, Connie (Mark) Crane, Richard J. Mietlicki and Frank J. (Kelley) Mietlicki Jr.; grandchildren, Anthony and Francesca Pellicano, Erica (Karl)Wilson, Philip Crane, Amanda and Meghan Mietlicki, Kourtni and Lucien Mietlicki; one great-grandson, Elliot Wilson; sister, Betty (Tim) Zettel and brother, Henry (Late-Janet) Mietlicki. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Chester, Edward and Richard; sisters, Helen, Mary, Lottie, Pearl, Irene, Natalie and Delores.Friends may call Monday, February 21st from 3-6 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 22nd at St. Vincent DePaul (St. Leo's), 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial with Military honors following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094-1231.
