    Vera Margaret (nee Webber) Austin, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born on January 1, 1920 in Niagara Falls, NY, Vera was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Collins) Webber.
    Vera attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1938. She later earned her nursing degree, graduating with honors, from DeGraff Memorial. Vera began her career in nursing, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Later, she received a certificate in blueprint reading from Trott Vocational High School and continued on working as a quality control technician in the family business, Ashley Tool Machine Company. In the 1940's Vera was a part of the Mable V. Greiken Mother's Club and for many years was a member of New Apostolic Church in Niagara Falls. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking and gardening.
    Vera is survived by her daughter, Karen (Eddie) Ashley; grandchildren, Donna (Alex) Riley, Eddie (Erica) Ashley, Jr., Jennifer (Don) Eger, James DeLong and Sharon DeLong; and many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph (late Florence) Webber and James (Verna) Webber; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Vera was predeceased by spouses, Duncan W. Neilson and Floyd A. Austin; son, James Duncan Neilson; and her sister, Dolores (late Paul) Hann.
    The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Unit 2 East, for their loving and dedicated care.
    The family will gather to receive friends on Thursday, June 8th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 NOON in New Apostolic Church, 9510 Marine Memorial Drive, Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00 NOON with Rev. Donald Eger officiating. Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

    Joseph Webber, 99, passed away on September 18, 2020.  Born on August 12, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Helen (Collins) Weber. 

     
    Joseph proudly served in the United States Army, during World War II and worked as a supervisor for Kimberly Clark Corporation. Joseph was a member of the Theosophical Society in America, and the Blue Society of WNY.  He enjoyed 
    golf, bowling, playing the accordion sailing and was an amateur artist.

     
    Joseph is survived by his finance, Nancy Baumreich; sons, Randall 'Ran' Webber, William Webber and Joseph (Carina) Webber; granddaughters, Danielle and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Marley, Jacob, Abigail, Kieran and Deklan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents and spouse, Florence S. (Pearl) Webber, who passed away on March 26, 2006, he was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Bettis and siblings, James, Vera and Delores.

     
    The family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY (716-297-9007).  Joseph’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. serving as celebrant. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Family and friends invited.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Elderwood at Grand Island.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.     Helen "Dolores" (nee Webber) Hann, 97, passed from this life on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Elderwood at Grand Island. Born on October 14, 1918 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Collins) Webber.

    Mrs. Hann graduated from the former St. Mary's High School and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Buffalo State College. Helen met Paul Floyd Hann, whom she married on April 6, 1940. He was the love of her life and her rock for almost 50 years, until he passed away on September 24, 1984.

    Raising a family of five, with tender love and care, included hours of reading aloud to them, as well as her excellent cooking and baking skills. When all of her children went to school, she started a very successful home-based business making custom draperies for JC Penny. As her family began to leave home, Helen returned to teaching at Our Lady of the Rosary School and St. Teresa School. For several years, Helen and Paul enjoyed traveling together across country by motor home and spent many happy family times at their summer cabin in Smethport, PA. Even later in life, she traveled with her family to Hawaii, England, Scotland, Wales and the Canadian Rockies. Helen always cherished her visits with family and will be dearly missed by everyone.

    Mrs. Hann is survived by five children, Gail (Tom) Ballard of Gardnerville, NV, Donna (Ian) Deters Hatton of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, Paul (Belle) Hann of Smethport, PA, Bruce (Paula) Hann of Grand Island, NY and Linda (Chester) Sliwowski of Niagara Falls, NY; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by three siblings, Vera (late Duncan) Neilson and (late Floyd) Austin of Niagara Falls, NY, Joseph (late Florence) Webber of Niagara Falls, NY and James (Verna) Webber of North Tonawanda NY, as well as many nieces and nephew

    The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Elderwood at Grand Island NY for five years of kind and dedicated care.

    Visitation and funeral services will be held privately with her family at OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY (716-297-9007), with Rev. William Allegretto officiating the service. Private graveside services will take place in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.     William Thomas Webber, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on November 21, 2020.  Born on December 7, 1958 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph Webber and the late Florence (Pearl) Webber.

     
    Bill as he was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, graduated from Niagara Falls High School and earned his Bachelors Degree from Niagara University. He was employed as a program manager for Opportunities Unlimited.  Bill enjoyed traveling, sciences and the arts, listening to music and collecting stones and rings.

     
    Bill is survived by his longtime life-partner of 34 years, Robert 'Bob' N. Perriman; brothers, Randall 'Ran' Webber and Joseph 'Joe' D. (Carina) Webber; nieces, Danielle Bettis and Amanda Cudahy and great-nieces and great-nephews, Marley, Jacob, Abigail, Kieran and Declan. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Carol Lynn Bettis.

     
    Prayers of committal and interment will be held graveside in Riverdale Cemetery on Friday, November 27th at 1:00 p.m.  Family and friends invited.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.  Arrangements are under the care of Michael R.     Smethport - Paul J. Hann, 78, of Smethport, passed away Friday (November 24, 2023) at Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.
     
    He was born August 7, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Paul F. and Helen Doloris (Weber) Hann. On September 5, 1980, in Niagara Falls, NY, he married Isabelle P. Pecoraro, who died Feb. 15, 2020.
     
    Paul was a graduate of Trott Vocational School in Niagara Falls and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967.
     
    He was employed at the GM Powertrain Plant of Tonawanda, NY until his retirement.
     
    Paul was an avid sportsman and was the vice president of the Norwich Township Sportsman’s Club.
     
    He is survived by:
    Two daughters: Tracy L. Pecoraro of Smethport and Donna L. (Charles) Broadway of Cape Girardeau, MS
    Two grandchildren: Autumn Abernathy and Gavin Seabaugh
    Three sisters: Gail (Tom) Ballard of California, Donna Hatton of Niagara on the Lake, Canada, and Linda (Chester) Sliwowski of Niagara Falls, NY
    One brother: Bruce (Paula) Hann of Grand Island, NY
    And several nieces and nephews
     
    In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by a brother in law, Ian Hatton in 2020.
     
    At Paul’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
