Frank C. Janese, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Anna (Pucci) Janese; and the beloved husband of Rosalie V. (Clark) Janese, who he married on February 19, 1952 at St. Joseph’s Church.
Frank was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and retired from Great Lakes Carbon in 1994 after 40 years. He was an excellent football and softball player, and competed for many years in the Industrial leagues. In 2005, Frank was inducted into the Niagara Falls Old Timers Sports Hall of Fame for his athletic accomplishments. He was also a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. “Go Bills!”
Following his retirement, Frank and Rose became snowbirds and enjoyed many winters at their home in Haines City, FL. Together they enjoyed shuffle board, bocce tournaments, playing cards, bingo and several cruises among many other activities.  
In addition to his wife of 69 years, Mr. Janese is survived by his children, William (Sharon) Janese, James (Barbara) Janese and Debra (Robert) Forgione; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers and one sister, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 7 from 1 – 4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 AM followed by Mr. Janese’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo’s Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Rudolph M. Janese, Sr. 78 of the Town of Niagara, NY passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016 at his home while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank C. and Ann G. (Pucci) Janese.

Rudy was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On December 5, 1956, he married Jean M. (MacKay) Janese. Rudy worked as an industrial electrician and in the maintenance department at SGL Carbon, formerly Great Lakes Carbon, as well as a baker for DiCamillo Bakery both in Niagara Falls. Rudy loved spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Niagara River Anglers Association. He was also a passionate Cleveland Browns fan, and especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Rudy is survived by his three children, Rudolph M. (Amy) Janese, Jr. of Wheatfield, Jeffrey C. (Debra A.) Janese of the Town of Niagara and Tina (Peter) Coppins of Lewiston, eight grandchildren, Rudolph (Kelly) Janese, III, Christopher (Wendy) Janese, Andrew Janese, Rochelle (Cody) Siezega, Jessica Janese, Jeffrey Janese, Avery Coppins and Ryan Coppins, seven great-grandchildren and one on the way, five brothers, Frank (Rose) Janese of the Town of Niagara, Michael Janese of Lockport, Edward Janese of Las Vegas, Ronald (Claudia) Janese of California, Lawrence (late Carol) Janese of Niagara Falls, one sister Shirley Hare of Cleveland and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls. Flowers are graciously declined. Michael R. Janese, Sr., 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 3, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Pucci) Janese.
Michael was employed as a foreman for the City of Niagara Falls for over 37 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Local Steelworkers Union where he formally served as Vice President.
Mike enjoyed bowling, golfing, as well as playing softball. He also enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas, and especially enjoyed sports gambling.
Mr. Janese was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia A. Janese; and his second wife, Martha L. Janese; one daughter, Lauri Janese-DeMartino; and one brother, Rudolph M. Janese.
He is survived by his children, Michael R. (Judith A.) Janese, Jr. and Sherri S. (late Joseph) Milone, Sr.; his beloved eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery were held privately for Michael's family.

William R. Janese, Sr., 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Born in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the Rosalie V. (Clark) Janese and the late Frank C. Janese; and the beloved husband of Sharon A. (Renda) Janese, who he married on June 25, 2010.
William moved to Niagara Falls as a child with his family and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. For over 30 years, he was employed as a millwright at Great Lakes Carbon prior to his retirement in 2002.
William was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved watching the New York Yankees, Fox News, the Food Network, Outlaw Josey Wales, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. William enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Wellsville that he built with his own two hands. He would host numerous wild game parties with family and friends. William was a jack of all trades and could fix or build anything. He loved dancing, as well as ordering from Amazon and QVC. Above all, William loved spending time with his family, and cherished the time spent with his children in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, every summer. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Rosalie and his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his daughter, Carla (Benjamin) Reynolds, William Janese, Jr. (fiancé Jamie Monihan), Jennifer Janese (Ron), his stepson, Shaun Frantz; his granddaughter, Kaylee Ann Woodruff; two siblings, James (Barbara) Janese and Debra (Robert) Forgione; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his father, he was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanne M. Rizzo on May 14, 1999.

Lauri A. DeMartino-Janese, 48, formally of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday November 8, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. She was the daughter of Michael R. Janese, Sr. of Lockport, NY and the late Patricia A. (Rawleigh) Janese.
Lauri was born in Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools where she graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1984. She relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 2004. Lauri loved spending time in Florida with her sister, brother-in-law and boyfriend, Joe, Jr. Her plans were to move to Florida which was the place that she loved to be. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, walking in the sand, sitting in the warm sun and dressing in odd colors. Lauri was always known to be the life of the party and would give you the shirt off of her back not asking for anything in return.
In addition to her father, Lauri is survived by her brother, Michael R. (Judith) Janese, Jr. of Lewiston, NY; a sister, Sherri S. (Joseph) Milone of Jacksonville, FL; her nieces and nephews, Laura E. (Joseph) Scarfone, Michael A. Janese, Christopher M. Smeal, Justin R. Dietz, Rachel A. Dietz; four great-nieces, three great-nephews. Lauri is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Justin Dietz, 34, of Gates, NY, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born in Niagara Falls, he is the son of Sherri (Joe) (nee Janese) Milone and Richard (Patricia) Dietz.
Justin was raised in Niagara Falls where he attended local schools. He later moved to Rochester and was currently employed as a machine operator at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed camping with fiancé, Susan. He also enjoyed playing video games with his nephew, Anthony, and spending time with his cats.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his beloved fiancé Susan Lovell; two siblings, Christopher Smeal and Rachel Dietz; three nephews, Anthony, Ayden and Christopher Smeal; two nieces, Erica Molina and Sierra Gomez, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
