Of our dear one, Mrs. Martha A.
Bull died, June 16, 1917. Wife of
Pulaski T. Bull and daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Lewis Keith of Stockton.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1830. She
died aged 87 years and 5 months.
Burial in the family lot at Stockton.
Funeral the 19th at the home near
Fredonia. Conducted by Rev. Mr.
Smallenberger of Cherry Creek.
She leaves her husband, who was
90 years old last April, also three
boys and three girls. Mr. Lewis P.
Bull, William A. Bull. Fredonia; John
W. Bull and Mrs. Jennie Patton, Miss
Ellen A. Bull and Martha L. Clouse
at home.
We often sit and think of her-
When we are all alone.
For memory is the only. Friend that

Stockton, Mar. 4 -Thursday night
Feb. 27 marked the passing of another
of Stocktons old Citizens in the death
of Mrs. Myra Bull who has been ill
for several months. She is survived by
her husband, Lewis Bull and the fol-
lowing children - Lyman Bull of Dun-
kirk, Mrs Ben Luke, Mrs. Herman
Pheil and Leslie Bull of Fredonia, Mrs
Arthur Carlson of Jameston and
Laverne and Chester, Bull of Stockton
She also is survived by three broth
ers, Lyman Dye of Brockton, Dayton
and Jay Dye of Cassadaga, also 19
grand children. Mrs Bull was a mem
ber of the Methodist Church and Aid.
The Rebekah Lodge, Three Links
Stockton Grange and Bear Lake Sew-
ing Society.
The funeral services were held
the M. E. Church! Sunday afternoon
at 2':30, .Rev. -C. L.. Koence officiat-
ing. The bearers were Lyman, La
Vern, Leslie, Chester Bull, Henry Dye
and Arthur-Carlson; The Church was
filled with relatives. and friends''

showing the respect in which the de
ceased was held.

John Bull died at the family home
in this village last Thursday morning,
aged 72 years. Mr. Bull had been an
invalid for many years. Surviving
him are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Bull; a
son, Fred Bull; four daughters and
several grandchildren. Mr. Bull was
born on a farm in Pomfret and lived
there, until coming to this village, a
few years ago Funeral services were
held at the Blood undertaking parlors
Monday afternoon' and burial was
made in Fredonia. Lewis Bull, brother
of the deceased, and two of his sons,
Lavern and Chester Bull; were among
the, Stockton people attending the
.services.

June 8.-Mrs. Myra .Bull and daugh-
ter,' Jessie, were called to Hamburg
Wednesday night of last week by the
serious illness of Mrs. Bull's daughter,
Mrs. Roy Edmunds whose death occur-
red Thursday morning.Mrs. Edmunds
Ieft four small children, one an infant
only two days old. Mrs. Edmunds was
a native of Stockton and always resid-
ed here until her marriage and was a
member of ,the Stockton Methodist
church.The family have the sympathy
of the Stockton people. The remains
arrived in Stockton Saturday and the
funeral services were held from the
Methodist church Sunday afternoon.

a retired farmer of Stockton, died
Sunday (July 16. 1961) in Lock-
port after a long illness.
Mr. Bull had lived in Stockton
all his life and was a member cf
the Federated Church there. He
was a 50 year member of the
Stockton I.O.O.F.
Surviving are a son, Willard C.
Bull; a granddaughter, Miss Bar-
bara Bull, Fredonia: three sisters,
Mrs.
Benjamin Luke. Mrs. Her-
man Piehl of Fredonia, and Mrs.
Arthur Carlson, Jamestown; two
brothers. Lyman Bull of Hamburg
and Leslie Bull. Fredonia; also
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Larson
Memorial Chapel after 7 P.M., to-
day and where services will be
held at 2 P.M.. Thursday. Burial
will be in the Stockton Evergreen
Cemetery.

life-long resident of Stockton,
died in Brooks Memorial Hos-
pital, Dunkirk, at 11:50 P.M Tues-
day. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Harriet Bull; one daughter, Mrs.
Lucille Pierce, Stockton; a son,
Lt Coramdr. Edward Bull, U.S.
Navy, San Diego. Calif.; three
sister, Mrs. Grace Luke, Fre-
donia; Mrs. Jessie Piehl, Fre-
donia; and Mrs. Esther Carlson
of Jamestown; three brothers,
Laverne, Stockton; Lyman, Ham-
burg; and Leslie Bull of Fre-
donia; six grandchildren and sev-

a member of the Stockton Fed-
erated Church, the Stockton
Grange, the I.O.O.F. Lodge of
Stockton, the Star Rebekah

neral services will be held from

Dunkirk. July 27.—Earl C. Bull of
Fredonia, 27 years old and married was
killed Thursday evening at the Red
Wing Grape Juice company plant
he had been employed only three
The body was taken charge of by ??
ner Blood who said that the death
undoubtedly accidental.
At about 7:30 Thursday evening ???
In company with two other of the ??
Wing employes took a loud of ???
from the first to the third floor of fruit
building where the cooking department,
Is located; during the fruit season the
plant being operated both night and
day.
The two other men left Bull standing
outside the elevator and carried their
load of fruit to the other end of the
building, being away from him only a
few minutes.
When they returned to the elevator
they found that during their absence
the elevator had started and that their
companion had been caught between
the elevator floor and the ceiling of the
third story.
The crushed body was hastily re
moved and Drs. H. E. Wheelock and
W, E. Duke were summoned who on
arrival pronounced the man dead and
said that In all probability he had died
instantly, as his chest was crushed and
his neck broken. Coroner Blood was
then summoned and look charge of the
body.
How The accident occurred will never
be known as no one was in the part of
the building where the elevator is lo-
cated. It is thought that the young
man may have touched some part of
the machinery as he stond waiting for
his companions, which released the ear
and he was caught as he attempted to
stop its motion. A thoro -examination
of the elevator was made by officials
who pronounced it in good working or
der,
Mr. Bull leaves the Wife and a
daughter only about three months old.
He was a farmer living In the vicinity.
up to a short time ago and had been
with the Red Wing plum only three
days when killed.

E: Rutledge officiating.;
The bearers were: Edgar Combs,
Frank Davis, E. Griswold, Leslie
Abel, Leo Bigler, and Arthur Morse.
Burial was in the Webster cemetery.
