MRS CARRIE M BULMORE
passed peacefully away at her
home in Lockport on October 15th.
She was born at Oak Orchard on the
Ridge later moving to Barre and then
to Lockport. She was an active mem-
ber of the Methodist Episcopal Church
and the W. C. T. U. until failing health
prevented. Charity for all was the
motto of her life. A faithful loving
wife and mother, a kind neighbor and
friend. She leaves besides her hus-
band, five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Vagg
of Childs, Mrs, Lotta Johnson of Al-
bion, Mrs. Pearle Fergueson of Oswego,
Miss Feme Bulmore of Gowanda and
Mrs. Marion Hadley of Buffalo, two
sons, Earl of Barre and Ross of Lock-
port; eleven grandchildren and one
great grandchild. WTth her sons and
grandson as bearers she was laid to
rest In Carmen Cemetery.

Holley NY Standard - 12/4/1924

J. Howard Bulmore of Brockport
was instantly killed last Wednesday
evening shortly after 6 o'clock, when
his car overturned on the Redman
Road near the railroad bridge. No
marks appeared on his body and it is
believed that he died of suffocation.
He was discovered shortly before
7 o'clock by H. J. Dean. Mr. Bul
more had left home shortly after 6
o'clock to meet the trolley arriving
in Brockport at 6:14 o'clock. It is
believed that he turned out for a car,
went off the road and was unable to
tum back before he skidded and
turned over.
Mr. Bulmore leaves his wife, Maud
Patte Bulmore; his father and
mother of Lockport; two brothers,
Earl and Ross, and five sisters,
Mrs. Frank Johnson, Mrs. James
Ferguson, Mrs. Nellie Vagg, Mrs.
Norman Hadley and Miss Fern Bul
more.
He was a member of Sweden Cen
ter Presbyterian Church, of the Odd
Fellows and Capen Hose Company.
He was a member of Harsch Crisp
Seaman Post, American Legion. He
was one of the first from Brockport
to offer himself in the World War.
He was a member of Battery D, 309
Field Artillery,, as Ordinance Ser-
geant.
A military funeral wa held from
his late home Saturday afternoon at
2:30 o'clock. Burial was in Lake
View cemetery.

Howard J. Bulmore, 36 years old,
of Brockport, .on of Mr. and Mrs,
Timothy J. Bulmore, of No. 39 Lewis
Street, this city, was found dead un-
der his automobile, near the railroad
bridge in the Redman road, near
Brockpart, Wednesday night about 7
o'clock. It is believed that he was
suffocated, as no bruises were found
on his body. The young man had left
home shortly after 6 o'clock to meet
someone at the trolley station, and
from the marks in the road. It is
supposed that he turned out for a
car, and went off the road.
Mr. Bulmor. was born at Barre
Center In 1988. He was a number of
the Presbyterian church of Sweden
Center, of the Odd Fellows, the
American Legion and Capon Hose.

Field Artillery, Battery D, being on.
of the first men to leave Brockport
after the outbreak of the World War.
Beside, his parents living here,
Mr, Bulmore leaves his wife, Maud
Patt. Bulmore of Brockport; five
sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Frank
Johnson of Albion, Mra. James Fer-
guson of Oswego, Mrs. Joseph Vagg
of Fair Haven, Earl Bulmore of Al-
bion, Fern and Ross Bulmore of
Lockport.
Mr. and Mrs, Bulmore, parents of
the young man, hav. lived In Lock-
port about six years, coming from
Barre Center. The father is a sales-
man employed In the Witkop and
Holmes, grocery store on Lock street.
A military funeral will be held to-
morrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at
the late residence in Brockport

HOLLEY - Harold Earl Bulmore,
69, of Holley, died unexpectedly
Wednesday in the Arnold Gregory
Memorial Hospital, Albion.
Bulmore was born in Albion and
had lived in the Rochester area for
several years. He came back to
Holley to live in 1983 when he
retired. He was a member of the
First Baptist Church of Holley. He
was a deacon and served as
secretary of the Mission Committee
of the church He wis a retired
employee of Radionics Inc. of
Webster.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth
(Grimm) Bulmore of Holley; three
daughters, Mrs. Paul (Carole)
Woodgate of Spencerport, Mrs.
Robert (Doris) Feathers of
Lexington, Tenn., Mrs. Malcolm
(Ellen) Gunn of Victor; two grand-
children; three sisters, Mrs. John
(Esther) Weeks of Marsellus, N.Y.,
Mrs. David (Gladys) Wiggins of
Syracuse, and Mrs. Leonard
(Grace) Hales of Medina.
There are no prior calling hours. A
memorial service will be held
Sunday at 3 p.m. for family and
friends at the First Baptist Church,
Geddes Street, Holley. Burial will be
in Mount Albion Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made
by Christopher-Mitchell Funeral
Homes Inc., 16650 W. Albion Road,
Holley.
Memorial gifts may be made to
the Highland Christian Missions.
