Herbert E. Eichler, age 86 of North Tonawanda, passed away August 2, 2017. Herbert had retired as a Supervisor at General Motors, Town of Tonawanda. He was an avid bowler and Euchre player. He was a member of the Third Warders Club and the Bob Cat Club. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Kraft) for over 67 years. Dear father of Paul (Linda) Eichler, Roy Eichler, and Amy (Michael) Ceisner. Grandfather of Aimee Eichler, Beau (Dee) Ceisner, Sara Ceisner, and the late Nicholas Eichler. Great-grandfather of Gannon and Oaklyn Ceisner, and Evelyn Wildt. He was the brother of the late Charlotte Hoefert and Ernest Eichler. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
