    Christian Luedersdorf, 79 years old,
    a well known resident of North Ton-
    awanda, died suddenly at the home of
    his daughter, Mrs. George Cramer, at
    Martinsville yesterday afternoon. Mr
    Luedersdorf was born in Germany. He
    located in Buffalo when 14 years of
    age. Two years ago he moved to Mar-
    tinsville. One son, William Lueders-
    dorf of Tonawanda, and five daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Gustave Lueders, Mrs. Au-
    August Rogalsky. Mrs. John Wiegand,
    Mrs. Charles Wilke and Mrs. George
    Cramer, all of North Tonawanda, survive.
    The funeral will be held from the
    late home Sunday afternon at 2
    o'clock and a half hour later from the
    St. Paul Lutheran Church on William
    street. The Rev. Mr. Schmidt will officiate.
    Burial will be in the St. Paul
    cemetery at Martinsville.

    90-Year.Old Lumber City Woman Dies NORTH TONAWANDA— Mrs. Louise-H. Wilke, 90 of 592 Old Niagara Falls Blvd. widow of Charles Wilke, died today (Jan. 4, 1960) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of this city, Mrs. Wilke was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edmund Kenyon, Mrs. Lynn Griffin and Mrs. Oscar Muck, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren all of this city. " The Rev.; Frederick Hinners will conduct the-funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Brunner Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery

    William Leaderstorf, 78, former
    Tonawanda resident, died suddenly
    of a heart attack Sunday in
    his home in San Diego, Calif.
    Mr. Leaderstorf was a paperhanger
    and painting contractor
    here 16 years before he moved to
    California for his health. He last
    visited the Tonawandas and his
    many friends here in 1948 when
    he celebrated his 50th wedding
    anniversary.
    He was a charter member of the
    Junior Order of the United Ame
    r i c a n Mechanics, Tonawanda
    Council 117, and a member of the
    I. O. O. F.
    He is survived by his wife,
    Emma (nee Breunner), a sister
    Mrs. Louise Wiik of North Tonawanda;
    a daughter, Mrs. Cecelia
    Jeffery of San Diego; and two
    sons, Chester of Tonawanda and
    Herbert of North Tonawanda. Also
    surviving are five grandchildren:
    Roger, Duane, Donald, Robert and
    Harry Jeffery.
    Burial will be Tuesday afternoon.
    Services will be held in the
    Lewis Mortuary in San Diego.

    Surviving are a husband, August; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Heinrich, Mrs. Charles Utuchmer, and Mrs. Thomas Heffernan; six grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of North Tonawanda, three sisters, Mrs. John Wiegand, Buffalo, Mrs. Charles Wilke and Mrs. George Kramer, North Tonawanda, and a brother, William Leadersdorf, Tonawanda.
    The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at te Immanuel Lutheran church, Rev. F. G. Scholtz will conduct the services and interment will be in the City cemetery.

(Lois) Boland. She was a member of the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association. Survivors include several other nieces and nephews.     NORTH TONAWANDA — David C. Muck, age 66, of North Tonawanda, died on Saturday, December 17, 2011. Born in Buffalo, NY, to the late Oscar and Dorothy (Wilke) Muck, he had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, and was the brother of the late Donald Muck. David had been employed as a Draftsman for the Wurlitzer Company in North Tonawanda for 12 years. He then worked as a Designer for Brighton Tool and Die Design, Inc., in Tonawanda for 25 years, retiring in 2005. David was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, and was an active volunteer within the Eastern District, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, in Williamsville, NY. He held many offices and positions in both the Church and the District. He was a passionate supporter of the International Lutheran Laymen's League in St. Louis, MO, where he held many positions including Governor, and International Treasurer. David also volunteered for the Buffalo Convention & Visitors Bureau.

    He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ruth E. (nee Ophardt) Muck; a daughter, Lana Suzanne Muck of Arlington, VA; and his cousins, Norm Muck, Jean Dutton, Jerry Short, Marilyn Hrncirek, Ruth Cooper and Gladys Kenyon.

    Edmund J. “Bud” Kenyon, age 88, of the City of Tonawanda, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at his residence, under the care of Hospice. Born in the Martinsville section of North Tonawanda, he had been a resident of Tonawanda for the past 58 years and was the father-in-law of the late Sherry Kenyon, and brother of the late Marguerite Siefke. Bud was a 1938 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and was a US Army Veteran serving during World War II. He had been employed as a Machine Operator for Chevrolet Div. of GM for 34 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served as Vice President and Financial Secretary of the Church Board, and was a member of the Church Choir. He was also a member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion, the Tonawandas’ Senior Citizens and was a former member of the Bargemen Singing Group. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gladys (nee Ingraham) Kenyon; two children, Karen (William) Bowers of Evans, GA and Paul Kenyon (Kim) of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren, Scott Bowers, Daniel (Jutka) Bowers, Meaghan (Randall) Zapata and Shaun Kenyon and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Caleb and Hannah Bowers. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery with Military Honors. She attended Niagara Falls Jr. H.S and was last employed as a coordinator at Hanci in Niagara Falls, previously working at numerous health care agencies. Marilyn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.She is survived by two daughters; Shelly (Bryan) Meigs and Amy (Christopher) Salada; a son in law, James “Blackie” (Carol) Quarantillo; 6 grandchildren, Dena and Cara Quarantillo (Dominic Zito), Jeremiah (Jennifer) and Nathaniel (Ariana) Meigs, Kyle (Kristen) Nablo and Mari Salada;7 great grandchildren, Dylan, Natalie, Nina, Patrick, Harper, Reagan, and Trace. She is predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Quarantillo and her siblings, Duane (Late Janet) Peltz, Arthur L. Peltz Jr. and June O’Lay. The family would like to send a special Thank You to the staff at OLP for their kind and compassionate care of Marilyn.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 28th at Lutheran Church of The Messiah, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston, NY 14092 with Rev. Tim Anas officiating. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park, Town of Lewiston.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or Lutheran Church of The Messiah, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston, NY 14092.
