NORTH TONAWANDA-Lynn D Griffis, 69, of 19 Lockport Ave., died Sunday (Aug. 11, I968) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after suffering an apparent heart attack., He was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas and formerly WAC employed as a guard at the Wurlitzer Co., retiring four years ago. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Leona Wilke, died in 1967. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. James Montgomery and Mrs. Norman Waiters, both of the Town of Tonawanda, and Mrs. Harold Harning of Kenmore, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at the Brunner Funeral Home, whre services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Robert Rose. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
