Herman Eick, 83, Dies In Middleport
MIDDLEPORT - Herman W. Eick, 83, at Griswold St, Town of Royalton, died after a heart attack Thursday (Dec. 10, 1959) in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester D. Klutts Telegraph Rd. Middleport. Mr. Eick was born Feb. 24, 1876 in the Town of Royalton, the son of August and Caroline Koepsel Eick. His wife, the former Ilda Fink, died more than 20 years ago. Mr. Eick operated his own farm on Griswold St. He was member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Besides his daughter he is survived by a brother, John, of the Town of Royalton; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon at St. Michael's Church. The Rev. Hilbert Huth will officiate. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

at his home, Graham Road.
Born In Wolcottsville, Dec. 30
1878, he was the son of August
1 and Caroline Koetsel Eick.
Mr. Eick was an area farmer
and a member of St. Michael's
Lutheran Church of Wolcottsville.
Surviving him are his widow
the former Miss Ella Schultz;
five sons, Alton and Ravmond of
iMiddleport. Wilbert of Lockport,
[and Harold and John of Medina;
a daughter, Mrs. Louis Bruning
of Lyndonville; 16 grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.

LOCKPORT Robert Fink, of Lockport, died Sunday, Dec. 17 at Veterans Hospital in Buffalo. He was bom Nov. 24, 1917 in Wolcottsville, the son of the late John and Anna Eick Fink. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre from 1940-45. Mr. Fink worked at the J.C. Fink and Son Store in Wolcottsville which he later purchased and then sold in 1960. He then worked at Akron Oil Co. for several years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, life member of the Akron VFW Post #3180, member of Akron American Legion Post #0900 and a life mem-ber of the DAV of Akron. He was also an exempt fireman in Wolcottsville Fire Co. and had play-ed in the Wolcottsville band for many years. Mr. Fink was formerly on the Democratic Committee and was Democratic custodian in the Town of Royal ton. He is survived by his wife, Mar-garet; daughters, Carol Stevens, of Lockport, and Donna Bruning, of Gasport; five grandchildren, Kristin Jamieson, of Newfane, Brian Hubert, of Lockport, and Eric Bruning, of Gasport, Aaron Bruning, of Gasport, and Heather Hubert, of Lockport; one great-granddaughter, Chelsey Jamieson, of Newfane; brother-in-law, Francis (Joanne) Schilling, of Buffalo; one nephew, Ronald (Gerri) Lindke, of Wolcottsville; several grand-nieces, -nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings, Norman Fink and Dorthy Wagner. Friends may call today from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St., Middleport and Wednesday from 12 to 1 p.m. at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville where the Rev. Wayne Renning will officiate at a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church

(Lyndonville) Richard D. Bruning age 80, passed away May 8, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1943 in Albion, a son of the late Louis and Dora (Eick) Bruning.

Richard served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of S.C.O.P.E. He loved and built many computers, which he taught himself how to do.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Roger, Russell and Ronnie.

He is survived by his daughter Mae (Joseph) Mohney; grandchildren William, Jeffery, Christopher, Cassandra (Cody), Christina (Spencer) and Ella; great-granddaughter Charleigh; siblings Robert Bruning, Randy Bruning, Donna Bruning, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no prior calling hours. His Funeral Service will be Friday May 10th at 11:00am at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. His burial with Military Honors will follow at Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

Bonnie enjoyed kayaking, even going down the Genesee River and taking her dog “Chip” for walks at Day Rd. Park in Lockport. Bonnie loved her job at Eastern Niagara Hospital, planning to retire in 2023 after 30 years of working. Her family enjoyed her cooking, baking, and any food that was available that she made. Camping in the summer in the Southern Tier brought her so much peace and the only thing she loved more was her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie was predeceased by her mother, Shirley.
Bonnie is survived by her loving partner of over 20 years, Jacob Ellsworth, children, Joshua (Ashley Porter) Quackenbush, Rebecca (Fiancé Aaron Gondola) Madden, grandchildren, Kenley, Michael, Cora, Adalina, Levi, Adriana, Taniya, Tianna, father, Robert Bruning, sisters, Laurie (Brian Cogar) Caleb, Cindy Haller, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bonnie enjoyed kayaking, even going down the Genesee River and taking her dog “Chip” for walks at Day Rd. Park in Lockport.
