      Obituary of Felix Reale

    Felix Reale passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family November 4, 2019.  Born October 11, 1926 in Medina, he was the son of Battista and Jennie (Ferri) Reale.  He served in the US Coast Guard from 1943-1944, the US Navy from 1944-1946, and the Navy Reserves from 1946-1950.  Felix worked at E&M Enterprises from 1950-1951 and from there worked 39 ½ years at Bell Aerospace retiring in 1991.  He also worked for Scalzo Brothers as well. 
    Felix is survived by his wife of 70 years, Frances (Bucolo) Reale; children Jennine Blackley, John (Robin) Reale, Daniel (Kim) Reale, and Phillip Reale; grandchildren Michelle (Chris) Glynn, Michael Blackley, Joseph Reale, Christine (Jason) Weibel, Jenny (Tony) Stella, and Nicholas Reale; great grandchildren Natalie Wagner, Lillian Weibel, Jamison Weibel, Isabella Stella, Jenson Stella, Anthony Stella, Christopher Glynn Jr., and Isabelle Glynn; also several nieces and nephews.
    Felix was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle, and will be deeply missed by all.
    Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Nov. 7th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 8th at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.

    Notes:

    Anna (Reale) Amis, 94, of Medina passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion. Prior to that, she had been cared for at the Villages of Orleans with a lengthy and courageous struggle with dementia.
    Anna was a daughter of the late Battista and Giovanna (Ferri) Reale, born in Medina on January 8, 1928. She graduated Salutatorian of her class in 1946 from Royalton-Hartland High School. Anna was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, both St. Stephen’s Church in Middleport and later on at St. Mary’s Church in Medina. Anna will be remembered as a joyful, compassionate and faithful caregiver to family and friends. Her selfless actions portrayed her belief in Heavenly Angels.
    In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Donald Amis and brother, Felix (late Frances) Reale.
    Survivors include her sisters, Florence (late Daniel) Sanmarco and Madeline (late Harry) Merrell; brothers, Michael (Patricia) Reale and Louis (Donna) Reale; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
    In keeping with Anna’s wishes, there will be no prior visitation. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Stephen Soares on Friday, June 24 at 11am at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 211 Eagle St., Medina. Interment will be in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
