    The funeral of Henry Schilling, who passed away on Monday. Feb. 12, was held at his residence on Thursday, Feb.16, at 2 P. M. Mr. Schilling leaves to mourn besides his wife, one daughter,Mrs. Ella Sheriff, of Hartland. Three sons, William of Lockport; Clarence of Gasport, and Earnest ot Barker;one sister, Mrs. Reaka Blomerick one brother, William, of Reynales Basin. Wolcottsville; also ten grandchildren.Interment was In Hartland Central cemetery.

He leave s one son and two daughters, Franklin W.Schilling and Mrs. Henry (Freda) Loud of Lockport, Mrs.Charles (Evelyn) Lament of Wilson, seven grandchildren andsixteen great grandchildren.Also survived by one brother Ernest Schilling, Zephyrhills,Florida, one sister Mrs. Ella Sheriff, Hartland and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home , 242 Genesee Street, where funeral service swill be held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock.     SCHILLING — Funeral services for Clarence E . Schilling were held Wednesday afternoon at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Gasport, with the Rev,Paul H. Nemeschy officiating.The bearers were Walter Seelbinder, Clyde Alport, Wesley Hudson, Frank Johnston, Charles Gaskill and Ray Gaskill. Burial was in Hartland Central Cemetery.

    C E. Schilling Fatally Stricken
    GASPORT—Clarence E. Schilling, 60, of 13 West Ave., died unexpectedly Sunday (Nov. 18, 1956) after suffering a heart attack in Niagara Sanatorium, Lockport, where he had been a patient for two days.
    Born in the Town of Hartland, Mr. Schilling was the son of Henry and Mary Ballard Schilling. He had resided in this vicinity all his life. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and of Medina Lodge No. 217, IOOF>
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fried Schlegel Schilling; a daughter, Mrs. A. William Hamilton, Pine Bush, N.Y.; three grandchildren; two brothers, William Schilling, Lockport, and Ernest Schilling, Barker' a sister, Mrs. Frank Sheriff, Hartland; and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, Middleport. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday a the Zion Evangelical Church, Gasport, by the Rev. Paul H. Nemesthy. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.

    Obituary of Peggy Kearns

    Peggy Kearns passed away July 14, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born February 2, 1928 in Lockport she was the daughter of Henry and Freda (Schilling) Loud.  Peggy was a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She worked for Dr. Altbach’s private practice in Newfane until she began raising her family in Lockport.       In her later years Peggy worked for the Jiffy Mart Hallmark Store.  She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her family.  Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Kearns, and siblings Robert Loud and Roxane (Eugene) Gallagher.
    Peggy is survived by her children Michael (Rhonda) Kearns, Roxane (David) Kern, Joseph (Teresa) Kearns, Edward (late Theresa) Kearns, and Patrick (Debbie) Kearns; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday, July 18th at 9:00 at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
