    ROSALIE QUINN HOOVER, 78, of Teaneck, formerly of Jersey City, died Monday. Before retiring, she was a personnel director for Arvey Corp., Jersey City. Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Scotch Plains and Kenneth of Orinda, Calif.; a daughter, Rosalie Dingler of Teaneck; a rother, Clifford Quinn in North Carolina; three sisters, Adelaide Doll, Leona Deering, and Vivian Miller, all in Florida, and 13 grandchildren. He husband, Raymond, died in 1981. Mass will be said Thursday at 11:15 a.m. at St. Aloysius R.C.Church, with burial in Holy Name Cemetery, both in Jersey City. Visiting is tonight from 7 to 9 at Volk Funeral Home, Teaneck.

    Vivian M. Miller

    Vivian M. Miller, 89, from Wall and Naples, la., passed away peacefully on June 27 surrounded by her family.
    Known to most simply as "Viv," she was a personality not soon forgotten. Born in Jersey City, Viv moved to River Edge before spending her last 15 years n Wall and Naples. She always put others over self, whether as a registered nurse at Engkewood Hospital ,as wife of the late Allyn (1983), as a mother of three, sister to five, grandma to 13, and friend to so many. A little lady with a huge heart, Viv will be missed by all.
    Vivian was predeceased by her husband Allyn and son Richard.
    She is survived by her son Allyn and wife Susan Miller of Napes, Fla.; son, Ronald Miller and wife Barbara Daniels of Wall; daughter-in-law Linda Miller of Naples, Fla.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her beloved "Jersey Girls;" and many wonderful friends.
    A memorial visitation will be held today, Thursday, July 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall. Interment will be private.

    Greensboro, N.C. - Clifford P. Quinn, 81, of Greensboro, N.C. died Friday (March 18, 2005) at Beverly Healthcare-Starmount.
    Mr. Quinn was born in Jersey City in 1923. He graduated from Seton Hall University. He also served with the Army Air Corps during World War II.
    He had a long and distinguished career of 38 years with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies. He also enjoyed a part-time real estate career; served as a volunteer to the Guilford County Court System and was a consultant for the SBA/SCORE.
    Cliff really enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he loved to travel.
    He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma; daughters, Sharon Lazar of Belle Meade, Maureen Quinn of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and Laurie Quinn of Holmdel; sons, Wayne Quinn of Greensboro, N.C., and Kerry Quinn of Boca Raton, Fla.; a sister, Vivian Miller of Naples, Fla.; and the extended family of in-laws, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
    A special thank you to Beverly Healthcare-Starmount for the excellent care provided to Cliff.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greensboro, N.C. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Forbis & Dick Guilford Chapel, Greensboro, N.C.
    Memorials are preferred to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2715 Horsepen Creek Road, Greensboro, NC 27405 or the National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave./Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL, 33136.
