    GASPORT - Irene (Leibering) Kill, 87, of Orangeport Road, died Monday (Dec. 17, 1988 at Lockport Memorial Hospital.
    She was born in Gasport and retire from the Hilltop Nursing Home.
    Mrs. Kill was a member of the Covenant United Church of Christ and the Jet Set Senior Citizens.
    She and her husband F. DeWitt Kill, were married Aug. 15, 1924 in Hartland and spent their winters in Auburndale, Fla.
    Besides her husband, Mrs. Kill is survived by daughters, Evelyn Eisenheimer and Joyce Eisenheimer, both of Gasport, sisters, Frances Kroening of Gasport Helen Anderson of Lockport and Leula Foley of Newfane; a brother, Kenneth Leibering of Hynes City, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.today at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Edward Trauscht officiating.
    Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
    Contributions to the Tri-Town Ambulance Fund are acceptable as tribute.

Kroening age 84 died June 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his sister and nephew.  He was born April 2, 1937 in Royalton, a son of the late Carl and Frances (Leibring) Kroening and had lived in this area all of his life.David worked for many years at Harrison Radiator.  He was a finished carpenter and enjoyed golfing and landscaping.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew Mark Westcott; brother-in-law Thomas Wetcott.  He is survived by his brother Paul (Kathryn) Kroening; his sister Marlene Westcott; nephews Michael and Mitchell Westcott, Kyle (Patricia) and Kurt Kroening; his niece Karrie (Michael) Farmacola.There are no prior services.  Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport NY 14094.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home.

    She married Ed Elsenheimer on April 7, 1951.  They had 4 children, Irene (Peter) Fadden, Shirley (Doug) White, Ted (Nancy) Elsenheimer and Donna (David) Mills.  They were blessed with 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Her sister Joyce Elsenheimer, Brothers-in-law Jesse DeMerle Elsenheimer, Donald (Eleanor) Elsenheimer.
    She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teaching each to be loving and kind to one another to all they met along the way.  Her legacy was teaching by example and how to be loving and responsible.  She was also an aunt, daughter, cousin, granddaughter, a scout leader, a volunteer.  She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed
    Evelyn received a dietician degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.  She managed several senior meal sites with RSVP and the Salvation Army in Niagara and Orleans Counties.  She was active in Church, worshipping and serving others at Orangeport United Covenant Church, Covenant United Church of Christ, and St. Peter’s United Covenant Church in Perkinsville NY.  She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 153 of Gasport, NY.
    Evelyn’s Order of Eastern Star Service will be held on Saturday November 12th at the Covenant United Church of Christ, 4449 Main St., Gasport NY at 10:30am followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00am.  Burial in Hartland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Boulevard, Buffalo NY 14227.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, Gasport.

He was a decorated US Army Vietnam Veteran who served with the 101st Airborne Division ("Screaming Eagles”), receiving the Bronze Star. Jerry retired, working as a press operator at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY. He married Carolyn Costello September 13, 1969, living in Newfane most of his life.  He enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing cards, and spending time outdoors. Father of Eric (Pam) Leibring of Burt, Danielle (Josh) Pomeroy of Newfane. Grandfather of James, Sarah, Hannah and Julia. Brother of Sue (Merle) Scott of Newfane, NY. Uncle to many special nieces and nephews.  Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main Street Newfane, NY FRIDAY 2-4 & 7-9pm where funeral services will be held SATURDAY at 10:00 AM.
