Michael A. Oliver
July 31, 1955 — May 11, 2024

Gasport: Michael A. Oliver passed away May 11, 2024 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born July 31, 1955 in Buffalo to the late August and Dorothy (Steilow) Oliver.
He rebuilt countless cars over the years and always saw their potential. He loved to cook to put a smile on your face. Mike was past president of the WNY Mopar Club and also served as trail coordinator for the Erie County Snow Seekers Club. Volunteering was something that Mike was also known for. He kept active with the Hartland Fire Co., helping to start the car show and also volunteering his time for several other organizations and community members. Mike always appreciated a good joke and was great at busting peoples chops as well.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Sarah in 2021, grandsons Tyler and Zachary Golding.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of almost 32 years, Susan (Kazmierczak) Oliver, sons Derrick (Wendy) Oliver, Garrett Oliver, stepchildren Brandy (late William) Golding, Joshua Bailey, Christine (Fiancé Devan Gominiak) Bond, grandchildren Jacob (Nicole) Golding, Nathan Bond, Sabatino Ciraolo, Zoey Gominiak, Dylan Oliver, Augustino Ciraolo, Maximus Gominiak, great grandchildren Lucas and Sophia, brothers Gary (Darlene) Oliver, James (Noreen) Oliver, as wells as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Friday, May 17th from 3:00-6:00pm where a time of sharing will be held at 6:00pm. Please bring stories to share to help celebrate Mike’s life.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Niagara Falls: Sarah K. (Oliver) Ciraolo, age 46, passed away August 8, 2021. She was born May 9, 1975 in Lockport to Michael Oliver and Lois (DePoy) Voelker.
Sarah was a member of the Prince of Peace RCC in Niagara Falls.
Sarah was predeceased by her grandparents, August and Dorothy Oliver and John and Betty Skutt.
Sarah is survived by her sons, Sabatino and Augustino Ciraolo of Niagara Falls, father of her sons, Vincent Ciraolo of Niagara Falls, mother, Lois DePoy (John) Voelker of Caneadea, NY, father, Michael (Susan) Oliver of Gasport, step-parents, Cheryl and Fred Jacquin of Lockport, siblings, Kathryn (Paul Strobel) Maerten of Newfane, Lewis (Ashley) Wright of Newfane, John Oliver of Niagara Falls, Derrick(Wendy) Oliver of Barker, Garrett Oliver, grandparents, Bruce (Darlene) DePoy of Lakeland, FL, step-siblings, Brandy (Fiancé Kyle Johnson) Golding of Medina, Joshua Bailey, Christine (Fiancé Devan Gominiak) Bond of Gasport, best friends, Risa Wasik of TX and Dominick Barber of PA, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Friday, August 27th from 10:00-12:00 where her memorial service will be held immediately following at 12:00pm.
