    NORTH RIDGE - August F. Kneeppel. 75 years old, retired farmer, died late Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Hillman, of North Ridge. Mr. Kneepple had been in falling health for some time but had been critically ill for only a few days. He had resided almost all his life In this vicinity and In former years was a successful farmer and always took a keen interest In town affairs. He Is survived by the following children: Mrs. Martin Neuman, Edward, Harry and Leonard Kneeppel, all of Ransomville; Mrs. Clarence Landers, of Youngstown; Clarence, of Lewlston: Elmer, of Modeltown, and Mrs. Hillman, of North Ridge. Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Martin Neuman, at Ransomville, this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be In North Ridge Cemetery

    LOCKPORT —
    Marian M. Warlinski passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 1, 2012 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born August 17, 1921 in Cambria, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Ella (Kneppel) Hillman.
    Marian worked in production at Harrison Radiator. She was a member of the Cambria Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary, Cambria Historical Society, was an avid animal lover and also grew fruits and vegetables and sold them at the market.
    Marian is the sister of Florence Will of New Jersey and the late Rudolph, Roger, Elwood, Harry Hillman, Josephine Ganschew and Melvina Claude. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, November 3rd at 10 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Donations to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.

    Lockport - Josephine "Jo" M. Ganshaw, age 81, a lifelong resident of the Town of Cambria, died Tuesday November 24, 2009 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, surrounded by her loving family. Jo was born November 18, 1928 in the Town of Cambria, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Ella (Kneeppel) Hillman. She was a graduate of Lockport High School and the Millard Fillmore School of Nursing. Jo married Carl "Kelly" F. Ganshaw on July 7, 1952 in Tracey, MN. She was a Registered Nurse, employed by Inter-Community Memorial Hospital in Newfane, from which she retired in 1974. Jo had also worked as an RN at Lockport Memorial Hospital, the former Ransomville General Hospital, and as a Niagara County Public Health Nurse. She was a former member of the Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary where she booked events, weddings, etc. She was a member of the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, and a member of the Millard Fillmore School of Nursing Alumni Association. Jo accompanied her Husband to the Clinton Bailey Market in Buffalo where they sold their vegetables from their family farm. During the 70's and 80's, Jo made and sold pies, chili sauce and other baked goods as well. She was very proud of the fact that she quit smoking after 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Carl; her children, Eric M. Ganshaw of the Town of Cambria, Grant C. (Deborah) Ganshaw of Tracey, CA, and Gail (Mark) Mittelstaedt, also of the Town of Cambria; her beloved grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer), Alan, and John Cobb, Dean, Nicholas, and Steven Ganshaw, and Tristen (Randy) Seal; her great-granddaughters, Alexis Seal and Krista Cobb; two sisters, Marian Warlinski of Lockport, and Florence Will of Chelmsford, MA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Melvina Claude and Dorothy Hillman; and four brothers, Elwood, Harry, Rudolph and Roger Hillman. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Saturday from 4 - 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 29, at 2:00 PM in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Alexander Knowles officiating.     LOCKPORT — Elwood L. Hillman passed away on April 18, 2012. Born on September 3, 1932 in Wilson, he was the son of Elwood C. and Ruth (Schultz) Hillman.

    Elwood was the garage foreman for New York Telephone for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed working in the yard, traveling, country music, and restoring cars. He restored a 1936 Dodge truck. Elwood was a member of the NY Telephone Pioneers and also the Pendleton Historical Society.

    Elwood is survived by his first wife and constant companion, Jean Haylett of Lockport; step-son of Evangeline Hillman of Lockport; father of Deborah (Howard) Gandt of Setauket, Long Island, Melody (Thomas) Zuercher of Lockport, and the late Duane Hillman; grandfather of Ashley Zuercher, Eric Gandt and Alan Gandt; brother of Annabelle (Levell) Zastrow of Newfane; step-brother of Carol (late William) Sprung of Lockport, Francis (Laurie) Hillman of Ransomville, Patty Hillman of Lockport, Sue (Stephen) Woodman of Graham, WA, Pam (Randy) Coulter of Kendall, NY, Beverly (William) Clemons of Lockport and the late Richard (Donna) Hillman; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife, Dorothy Hillman.

    Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 20th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM. Inurnment will be in the Evangelical and Protestant Cemetery, Pendleton, NY, at a later date. Scott Poole graduated from Newfane High School, he then went on to coach at Welds High school in Co. Then at Caverns High school in Glasgow, KY. SCOTT POOLE loved life and the Buffalo Bill's, his smile will be missed. Services will be held on Thursday April 8th at Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main Street Newfane, NY from 1pm-2pm and prayers at 2pm immediate family only
